Mudwing!! Dragonets!!! Have!!!! Floppy!!!!! Spines!!!!!
When these big guys first hatch, nothing really looks the right size. Their tails are too big, wings too small, face too chubby, and spines so very very floppy (buck teeth are also common, but dragonets grow into them with age)!! Bouncing all over the place, rolling in mud, play fighting over cool rocks, and all the while these big floppy spines are goin all over the place. Mudwing dragonets are often called 'floppers' ('flop' singular) because of this!! They will usually grow out of their floppiness, but very rarely it will stick with a mudwing throughout their entire life!!
I imagine they'd look like this, but feel free to take your own spin on things!!
