Its been three days, what is keeping him? I look over to see my reason to live, looking at me with a knowing smile. "My love, I may not be able to read your mind currently, but I have become pretty good at picking up what you are feeling. Be patient with him, he is here as a favor to us. And you know how he feels about this place. It haunts him you can see it in his face when he arrived... that is until he set eyes on Mindy. I swear those two are on a four-year honeymoon phase." She laughs, but I understand Raniero's affection and passion for Melinda, for it is the same I possess for Antanasia.

"Perhaps you're right, but three days? What? Oh alright, he has until the end of the week before I storm in there and demand an audience no matter how indecent they are." She shakes her head, but the smile never leaves her face. "I know how much this place affects him, I know better than anyone. But the light that lives in the castle outshines the darkness that has clung to these halls now... You are my light." I grab her hand and brush my lips across her knuckles.

"You, ever so charming... I love you," she says as she leans closer to me.

"Hehm, sorry your Majesties, She sent word that she has arrived and that her journey was uneventful."

"Thank you, Joseph, please inform my cousin that the guards there are the ones we handpicked and would be ones we would pick for Jasper." He nods and disappears out off the great hall

After the Halloween incident, we agreed Saasha would lay low somewhere safe until we could stop the madness that was going on. The Vladescu's have several safe houses in case of war the elders and the youth would survive, we sent Saasha to one that has been all but forgotten by most. I smile a little, she'll be none too pleased for it was where we first met.

"Lucius! You prat, you picked that location out of pettiness!"

"Damn, I forgot Raniero had been the one to teach you how to get into my mind without me noticing!" She shakes her head and sighs. "What, yes I take pleasure in her discomfort, but that is the most secluded and forgotten about safe house it's no longer on any of our records."

"I hope she'll be alright."
