"How did you find me? And why even come here, Lucius will have your head."
"Ah, I see you are on first name basis with the Vladescu? Is he not the very same Vladescu you tried to gut, my dear," Victor asks with a curious smirk.
"It is true our first encounter wasn't a pleasant one, but he has changed. He a better man and leader... you cant compare, uncle."
I watch the smirk fall from his face, and he rises walking closer, his voice lowering in a dangerous whisper, "You dare compare me to lowly worm! Have you gone soft in the head? You've been around that Americanized cousin of yours haven't you? Our family line is far more superior, we are the ones that should be ruling over them! Not them over us.... Your father knew this, but was content with us controlling a barren waste land of ice-"
"NO! My father, YOUR BROTHER AND LORD wanted peace! He knew going to war over power would be nothing but blood shed and horror. You will not win, even if I die my people will not follow you," I say standing now inches from his face. "And do not underestimate Antanasia, she is nothing alike what is said about her. She is a strong queen, and is strong enough to put a Vladescu in his place with a mere look."
Victor's face flickers for a momment, "Ah you have grown, you no longer flinch when someone steps towards you in anger... I shall have to re teach you to fear your elders!!" He raises his hand you deliver a blow, but just then my security detail burst through the door and charge towards us. My uncle disappears, but his voice echos in my head "We will meet again my love, I will not come back to this place. But leave and I shall find you, and you will be mine."
"Send word to the King that Victor found the safe house! Duchess are you alright?!?" Kam was the one speaking to me. Small and slender, perfect for stealth... But don't let his size fool you he packs a mean punch.
"Yes, I'm fine... Don't worry to much, I do not think he will be coming back... As long a Lucius is king."
