You awaken to prison bars and a chain connected your hands to the wall. No one was around, except for a passing guard. Probably just patrolling the area. A prison cell, this is where you land for not telling your name?! What's going on with the kingdom's policies?! This is a drastic measure, even if this kingdom was in a war!
" In here, Lady Raven." You hear the door to the cell open as a half-breed walks in. Her black and grey tail swaying calmly as she watches you.
" I see he/she's awake.. Good.." the half-breed approaches, she looks a lot like that one that knocked you out.
" You're the one who..."
" Right.. I am.." the half-breed seemed amused that you figured it out, " You're observant.."
" What do you want..?" you back away from her. Who knows what else she could do... She could pull another black out and knock you out again.
" R-relax, I'm not going to pull another stunt like that again.." the half-breed stops a small distance away. Her tail curled around her as she sat down, " It's not often that I have to pull a stunt like that.. I-I'm here to offer you a deal.."
" A deal?!" you eyes widened with shock, first she knocks you out, now she wants to help you out?!
" I can get you out of here." she starts, her brown eyes glowed faintly in the dim light.
" What's the catch?" you wanted out, but every deal has two sides to it. What did you have to do for her?
" I-in return... I ask that you become a Red Kingdom soldier."
" A-a soldier for this kingdom..?" that doesn't sound bad or hard. You know a little about fighting anyway. But the way she said it... It's like she had a hidden motive behind this deal..
" Do we have a deal?"
" I, um... Uh.." a loud crash sounds outside the cell, followed by the shouts of the guards and soldiers.
" Rogues! Rogues!"
" Don't let them get to the cells!"
" R-rogues..?" the half-breed before you stood up, " Oh, dear, I-I'm afraid they've come for you.." she looks at you before a roaring ball of fur leaps onto her. A dusty brown bear had leaped onto the half-breed, who was now in her wolf-fox form. You watch, stunt as the wolf-fox bats at the bear's furry face, her back paws plummeting the bear's underbelly.
" Come on, hurry up!" you feel a hand grab yours and start to pick at the lock. It opens and falls to the ground. A girl stood in font of you, tugging you after her out of the cell. " You want to leave don't you?" you nod and follow her through the endless halls of prison cells. You hear the bear behind you roar in pain as black fire was blasted in it's face. You encounter a group of guards near a pool of murky water.
"Hey! That's a prisoner!"
" Get him/her!"
" Hope you can swim." the girl leading you shoves you into the water.
" Ahh!!" your yelp was cut off as the water closed over your head. You feel something furry bump against you and you instinctively grab onto it. It zooms through the water and to the surface somewhere else. You cough and sputter, wiping the water from your eyes as you look at your surroundings. You were outside of the prison house. Half-breeds swarm out of the house, the other rogues. Next to you was a white harp seal. She barks at you and continues down stream, you cling to the seal's warm fur. Some how, you managed to fall asleep during the journey.
" Is he/she still asleep?"
" yeah, must not be used to this.."
" We can't travel by water anymore. I can't carry him/her."
" We'll have some of the aerial half-breeds carry him/her them." you hear part of a conversation, but you couldn't open you eyes. You feel yourself being carried in the air, as wings beated near you. You then fall back into the silence and darkness.
When you woke up again, you were on the back of a furry gryphon. You bolt up, startled. Weren't you just in the water? Your sudden movement sent you almost tumbling over the edge.
" Oh, you're awake, could you stay still. I'd hate to drop you." the gryphon growls.
" I'd listen to him if I were you." a familiar voice calls from the back of an eagle, " He's doesn't joke around. He will drop you."
" O-okay.." you readjust your position on the gryphon so you had a better grip. Below you, a caracal was running alongside the brown bear that attacked the wolf-fox earlier. It gently guided it along, in the right direction.
" We're almost back at the campsite." the harp seal half-breed calls from the back of the eagle, " Keep it together every one! We're almost there!" her blonde hair tied back in a wet ponytail.
The gryphon and eagle land in the middle of a valley like structure. You and the harp seal jump off. The rest of the half-breeds bound in from an entrance in the side of the valley.
" Great job everyone! We did it!" the harp seal shouts with everyone echoing her with shouts of triumph. The eagle and gryphon take their human forms. The bear and caracal take their human forms as well.
" Let's go get your burn treated." the caracal leads the blind bear away. He mumbles something as he is lead away.
" Well, I'll see you guys at dinner. If you need me, I'll be in the den area." the gryphon leaves after a few brief words.
" I'll go along with Will. Just to make sure he doesn't destroy the den." the eagle dashes away to catch up with the gryphon.
" Welp.. Everyone's off to do what ever they please. You can too." the seal turns to you, " I'm Pearl by the way."
" I'm (Y/n)." you respond with a smile. You were free from the kingdoms now. What do you want to do?
