Raven pov
" Alistair?" I muttered as he set me down, " Why-?"
" There was an eavesdropper." he shrugged, " I just wanted it to be just the two of us." his leopard tail swayed from side to side as he approached. " No one else needs to know about us for now."
" Wha.. Alistair, it's fine.." there was no reason to hide it. It's a choice I made, no one could stop it. " I'm sure many will accept it.."
" They probably won't."
" Yes they will.."
" No, they won't." he growled, taking a step forward, cornering me under a tree. My ear twitched back as his hand slammed down onto the bark next to my face. " Why don't you understand, Raven?! We're in the mist of a war! There is no way anyone will allow this! Not even your sister!"
" That isn't a reason not to try, right? You're only looking at the negative side of it." I reasoned, " Even if we are in the mist of a war, that doesn't mean everyone loses their faith and trust.. Half-breeds and people aren't like that..! They still have compassion and love.. They won't judge us for what or where we're from.!" my amethyst crescent underneath my eye glowed faintly as I continued, a single tear slid down my cheek.
" Raven.." I felt something brush against my cheek, brushing away the tear " You're just fantasizing about another reality."
" So just because you're a rogue and I'm a kingdom dweller, doesn't mean that we can't be together!" a blast of heat suddenly surged forward. I heard Alistair hiss in surprise as he leaped away.
" Raven.. I.." he recoiled from my outburst. I blinked, my eyes snapped open, a flickering black flame wall separated Alistair and me. " Why.?. Wait, Raven!" I bit back a response as I retreated back into the shadows of the forest.
" An outburst.. That hasn't happened in a while, Raven." Shadow commented, " You sure you're alright?"
" I'm fine.." I sighed, casting a longing glance back where Alistair and the dying wall of flames were. A silent tear splashed onto the undergrowth as I back away, " I'm not sure if I'll be going out for a while.. I just need some time to think about this.." I turned and raced through the forest.
2nd pov
You hear a rustle in the undergrowth nearby. As you go to check it out, a dark grey and black wolf-fox sat alone on a boulder. He muzzle was turned to the ground, ears slightly flattened. She.. Was she crying? A darker spot on the rock was dripping with a small amount of tears. You carefully approach, unsure what was happening.
" It's fine Shadow.. I.. I just need to be left alone for a while.." Raven muttered, a tear rolling down her muzzle. Where was that leopard, Alistair? Did he leave her, or did she run from him?
" Suure you're fine." a second voice spoke with sarcasm, probably who Raven addressed, Shadow. " Listen, Raven, Alistair didn't mean what he said. He-"
" Stop.." Raven interrupted quietly.
" Listen to what I have-"
" Please.." Raven whisperer, " I don't want to hear about him right now.." her hear swayed as she continued, " I know he's not himself.. I just.. I just don't want to talk about him.." you watch as she takes takes the silver flute under her paw, twirling it around. She rubbed her eyes in an attempt to clear her vision.
" Why don't you try to get some sleep." Shadow suggested, Raven's shadow sprang forward with a swirl of lilac and indigo. A half-breed settled herself next to Raven, an icy guitar appearing in her hands with a faint light blue.
" I'm not tired.." Raven protested before looking away.
" At least try to relax?" she asked and started the first notes to a song.
" I remember tears streaming down your face when I said I'll never let you go
When all those shadows almost killed your lightI remember you said don't leave me here alone
But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight""Just close your eyes, the sun is going down.
You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now.
Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound."" Don't you dare look out your window, darling everything's on fire.
The war outside our door keeps raging on.
Hold onto this lullaby even when the musics gone, gone.."" Just close your eyes, the sun is going down.
You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now.
Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound.
Just close your eyes, you'll be alright.
Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound.." she smiled gently as Raven tucked her muzzle into her tail fur. Her crimson eyes flickered with emotions an older sibling would have towards her younger sister. Maybe that's what raven saw her as? An older sibling, a guardian, and protector?
" Just close your eyes, the sun is going down.
You'll be alright, no one can hurt you now.
Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound.Just close your eyes, you'll be alright.
Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound.."
" Get some sleep, Raven. We'll see what tomorrow brings." Shadow whispers as Raven's breathing evens out, she lets out a small giggle before vanishing in a swirl of lilac and indigo. You back away from the rock and head in a different direction. You had to find someone who knew about this situation. You..

Raven's pretty shaken up from Alistair's attitude today.. The next time I see that feline, he better start running before I catch him.. I'm not going to let him off the hook that easily for what he did to Raven.. ~S
Raven.. Why don't you understand? I'm a rogue, you're a kingdom dweller.. It's against the rules for us to be together, isn't it? If it isn't, I still doubt anyone would approve it. People and half-breeds alike see rogues as thieves or villains. If they see you with a rogue like me, the would most certainly hate you as well. I don't want that to happen to my purrincess.. I know you probably hate right now, you might even despise me. However, I did what I had to.. It's for the best of both our interests if you stay away from me. i'd only ruin your reputation and even cost you your position in the kingdom.. ~A
