Morphia slowly woke up in her room, giving a slight yawn. She sat up, finding a sweet scent was floating around the room.
" What..?" she mumbled, half asleep as she rolled off the bed, walking over to look at the bottle. It was a small vial with a clear liquid inside. ".. Huh?.." she took a couple of seconds to examine it. She shook her head before turning away from the vial to leave. Half stumbling towards the closet, she grabbed an outfit. Once changed, she walked over to the mirror, brushing out her tangled hair. She picked up the copper brush, gently tugging at the red ends of her hair to pull out all the knots and loose hairs. She tossed the loose hairs into the trash before shaking her hair back, leaving it down. ".. Hm.." she glanced at the mirror again, chewing the inside of her lip, " No." she disappeared back into the closet to grab something else.
" Kuurrraaammmaaa!!" her voice echoed downstairs, prompting the boy himself to look up.
" What the-" before he could finish, a fluffy tailed girl barreled into him, having just slid down the railing of the stairs. " Hi? Morning..?"
" Hi!"
" What's gotten into her today?" Alistair asked, poking his head in from the balcony.
" I don't know.." Kurama was practically smirking, " But I'm not saying I don't like it."
" By that, I'm going to say Morphia's being very lovey dovey." Alistair spoke with a laugh, " Where Raven?"
" Upstairs. She's getting ready." Morphia responded, not moving from her spot. Her red tipped tail wagged back and forth behind her. Her red tipped ears swayed faintly.
" What's taking her so lon-" Alistair stopped as he heard soft footsteps clicking down the stairs.
" Hey." a familiar voice purred as Raven stepped off the stairs. Her black and silvery grey features were neatly groomed, unlike her characteristically tussled features. Her black, faded to indigo hair was let down and flowing down her back. A amethyst necklace dangled over her neck, in the shape of a fox. Her foxglove decorated heels shimmered faintly, almost glass like. The purple, of the shoulders dress she wore was adorned with a simplistic golden flower and feather trim. A wreath of golden leaves was tucked in her hair with a couple of feathers embedded in copper among the leaves. Her tail had golden and copper chains in it, curling and swaying. Her eyes were ringed by a splash of eye shadow and indigo mascara.
" Morning..? Uh.." Alistair blinked as he stayed where he was.
" Mornin, Handsome." Raven greeted, batting her eyes, as she passed by Alistair. Her silvery grey tip brushed against his chin for a second, followed by her lips meeting his cheek, " See you later tonight, m'kay?" she walked off casually. Her reddish brown eyes watched him, glimmering before the door opened and closed again.
" What's up with her..?" Kurama asked, sitting on the couch. Morphia was sitting next to him, curling her tail beside herself in a mess of fur.
" Same things that's probably happening with Morphia.." Alistair concluded after a second.
" Hey at least she's nice to me for a change." Kurama lightly poked Morphia's cheek, " And Raven's more open than usual." Alistair shook his head, turning away, " You don't like it?"
" That's not the point, Kurama. They were who they were for a reason." he started, " With their new personalities, they won't be able to do their jobs anymore. You do realize that right? Nevermind not doing jobs, think about what'll happen when they come to their senses. If they find out you did nothing to help.." Alistair broke off with a slight laugh, " She won't be happy."
" We." Kurama corrected.
" Who says I'm part of the not helping." Alistair retorted as he walked out to the balcony, " I'm going out to find a cure." his leopard patterned tail swayed as he leaped off the railings, disappearing into the forest.
