Pearl leaves as soon as she finishes speaking, picking up a traveling bag as she left, you quickly follow her out of the camp. She leads you through the forest, towards what you assume to be the lake or meadow. You keep walking until the sun was almost directly overhead. By then, you and Pearl have stopped to take a break under the shade of a large tree. You two don't speak much during lunch. You rest through most of the harsh afternoon heat and set out again as the heat cools down. As the sun starts to set, you notice some of the trees shifting around, but you decide to ignore it. It's probably some other rogue trying to scare you off. You approach the meadow as the moon is almost directly above head, you kept casting constant glances around all the way there. Pearl walks out to the meadow with you following at her heels. As you step in, the feeling of something watching you immediately faded drastically. Maybe some animal was watching you? What if it was a person?

" Doesn't look like anyone is in sight at the moment." Pearl observed, " (Y/n) go search that side of the meadow. It'll be faster if we split up and cover more ground." she points to the left side of the moonlit meadow. " Just yell if you get in trouble." you look around, poking at the bushes, startling several animals. You spot s couple of small mammals and birds, but no half-breeds. You hear Pearl searching at the opposite side if the meado, didn't sound like she had much luck either.

" Where could she be?" you mutter, pushing aside some of the undergrowth, nothing.. You were about to move when you spot a couple tufts of black fur stick on the dark brambles in the undergrowth. Drops of dark red was hidden under foliage and vines. Almost as if someone with heave injuries had passed by and attempted to hide the trail while on the edge of passing out. A faint outline of a canine limped away a little away in the woods, it's head bowed down with exhaustion. " Hey, Pearl?" you hollered to the other side of the meadow, " I think I found something!" No response came.. You waited before calling out again, " Pearl?" you hear some rustling on the other side, followed by a loud thump and a shriek. It's probably some random animal that Pearl startled.. Or could it be something more?

Hey, just so you know, you should go treat the injuries. That rogue did quite a number in you. He might be by the lake tonight, if you want to check, though I'm not sure if you will make it, the rogues have started the hunt for you. ~S

Looks like they're trying to find me.. I better start moving.. Wouldn't want to get caught by them, that would be humiliating.. Getting caught by rogues, never..~R
