I slammed my fist so the metal table. The clanking noise bouncing off the concrete walls.

Kang relaxed in the folding chair and rolled his eyes.

God, I want to smack him again.

Jungkook knocked on the door. Sighing loudly I gave the table one last shake.

Jungkook closed the door and handed me coffee. "Kook it's been an hour! I don't know what to do!"

"We will figure it out!"

One of Hoseok staff tapped me on the shoulder, "Does he have an alibi?" She asked sweetly.

GUHHHODWHOFN

"He doesn't need one, I tackled him to the ground at the crime scene, I growled.

She put her hands up defensively and wandered over to Hoseok.

"I'm going back in," I said, cutting across Jungkook's protests.

I slammed the door shut.

"Try to be a little kinder, hm," Kang taunted.

"Not feeling very tenderhearted today," I said, clenching my teeth.

"C'mon old guy loosen up," Kang said, putting his feet on the table.

"I'm not old," I growled, barely audible. "Do you want to tell me why you blew Jimin's house up, how you got Min Yoongi out of maximum security, and who HER is?"

Kang shrugged.

"Pick one and then I won't kill you," I threatened lowly.

Kang shrugged again. I shoved his feet off the table. Kang landed on the ground and I grabbed his shirt. He looked at me with a split second of fear, which was replaced with cockiness when Jungkook pulled me off him.

"Quit manhandling me!" I snapped.

"Quit beating up our only witness," Hoseok quipped.

I sighed and flopped down in the chair. Jungkook leaned on the glass/mirror partition that separated us. And that madman.

"Just one more go!" I pleaded.

"CLearly, Jin, it's not working, just give the fuck up." Hoseok snapped.

Scowling I turned to Jungkook who shrugged.

"Kookie, you go in there," Hoseok sighed.

I threw my hands up in defeat and glared at my best friend, pursed his lips and flashed his eyebrows at me.

For fuck's sake, that dominant bitch.

Jungkook nervously left the room, a file under his arm, hands in his pockets. Watching the floor.

C'mon Kook.

I watched Kang sit up a little straighter as Jungkook entered the interrogation room.

"Oh, you're the soft one," Kang leered.

"Don't flatter me," Jungkook responded dryly, taking Kang by surprise.

"So where's the other guy? The crotchety one?" He asked

I bit my lip.

"You why exactly am I here?" The smooth talker asked.

"Because you commited a crime," Jungkook said calmly, sitting down across from Kang.

"Define 'crime' for me" he said leaning back in his chair.

Jungkook glanced nervously behind him, I nodded urging him on.

"You know that he can't see you, Jin?"

"You know what Hoseok" I quipped.

"It means you violated the God damn law," Jungkook snapped.

Keep it cool, Kookie

"if like to ask you some questions regarding your boss, Min Yoongi-"

"Oh, he's not my boss" Kang interrupted.

Jungkook rolled his shoulders "oh, and who is?"

"HER"

"And both you and Yoongi work for HER?" Jungkook asked excitedly.

Kang smirked.

"We can put you in witness protection, keep you safe from her-"

"Im not scared, im her right hand man"

"okay, simpler, you throw you in jail and draw HER out," Jungkook shrugged.

Kang scoffed. "She'd get me out, she got Yoongi out,"

"Yeah, how did she do that?"

"I like you kid, but i dong like you that much"

Jungkook ran his fingers through his hair and left the room, leaving Kang to smugly exist.

"Good work, Kook." Hoseok said. "But I think that's enough for tonight, it's already midnight."

I nodded reluctantly.

"I have some business to do tonight but you guys go get some sleep," Hoseok said grabbing his coat.

"What kind of business?" Jungkook asked.

Hoseok frowned, "my business."
