December 30th A sketchy club (Jin's perspective)

"Yes Jin, for the third time, I will keep an eye on him. Please don't worry, he's a good kid."

I got out of my car and walked the short distance to the club entrance.

The manager approached me, "How may I help you, sir? The usual tonight?"

"No, not today. I'm here to see Taehyung."

"Ah, I'm afraid he's on break, may I offer you a different server?"

"I'm not here to use his services, I want to wish him a happy birthday."

"Ah, I see. He's just in the back, if you'll follow me."

I followed the manager down the dark hallway. I opened the door with the smudged label 'storage'

Taehyung was sitting at a small table, papers, condoms and card board boxes littered the room. He had his mouth full of a sandwich, smiling brightly bouncing in his seat, pausing momentarily to scratch at the fishnet tights.

He swallowed hard, "Hi my favorite cousin!" Taehyung beamed at me.

"Hi birthday boy," (I couldn't help but smile back) "How've you been?"

Taehyung shrugged, "Meh."

"Being a pole dancer is only 'meh' to you?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

He shrugged again,smiling "they think I'm sexy~"

"And who's 'they' do I need to fight them?" I asked jokingly.

Taehyung laughed, "my clients!" Excitement dancing in his eyes.

I smiled.

"Jin-hyung?"

"Yeah, TaeTae?"

"Do you still love me?"

"Tae! Why would you say that!" I asked bewildered, shifting my rickety folding chair closer to him.

"I know you don't like this job," he said sullenly, looking up at me, tears in his eyes.

I sighed. "Considering my own occupation, who am I to slander yours?" I said, hugging my Tae.

"Really? You approve,"

No

"Of course Tae,"

He nodded, wipping the tear on his cheek.

"Ready to open your gift?" I asked, trying to salvage the moment.

"You got me a present!?" Taehyung said, back to his cheery self.

I nodded handing him the envelope.

His smile lit up the room as he pulled out a wad of cash.

"That should be three months rent," I told my speechless cousin.

"Wow," he said in awe, ecstaticlly wrapping his arms around me.

"Gah, Tae, I can't breath," I said.

"Sorry," He mumbled, still beaming, pocketing the bills.

I heard a cautious knock on the door.

"Oh! And I have a friend coming."

"Really!?"

"C'mon in Kook!" I called.

Jungkook opened the door, eyes lighting up as he saw his new best friend.

-one week later-

"Hyung, I'm so glad your letting me visit your cousin again!" Jungkook said, jumping out if my car, snow getting in his shoe. I chuckled at my assistant.

We entered the club and the same manager greeted me.

"How may we help you, sir."

"We're here to see Taehyung,"

"Ah, I'm afraid he's not here right now," the manager frowned.

"What do you mean?" I asked furowing my brow.

"I'm afraid he's missing, sir."
