No Rest

The wind whipped my hair around my face as I waited for Namjoon and Jungkook to pick me from the airport.

The flight had been long and grueling and Victoria had graciously given me a change of clothes before I left. At least I was a bit cleaner...

I recognized the dark blue minivan as Namjoon's. He and Jungkook, practically flew out of the car and held me in a tight embrace.

"God dammit Jin, I've been so worried,"

Jungkook nodded, face still smushed into my back.

I was speechless.

HE was speechless, "really? So soon?"

"When have I ever lied to you?" HER scoffed. "Now get on the car," she ordered.

HE obliged, opting for the back. To protect his identity, just for a little longer.

HE and HER cocked their guns.

"Come, my beautiful boyfriend," Namjoon said, excitedly opening the door for me, "I have a lot planned!"

"And what might that be?~" I asked, kissing him on the cheek.

Jungkook beamed from the back seat.

Namjoon pulled out of the airport parking lane and merged onto the highway.

Jungkook was begging him to play some Girls Generation.

"Remember," HER said. HE already rolling down his window. "Just scare them a bit,"

He smirked. Taking aim.

"Pretty please Hyungs-"

The sound of metal on metal made me jump. Jungkook screamed as a bullet (went) through both windshields. Namjoon swerved.

I swore, Jungkook passed me his pistol. The black car behind us was shot at us again.

Making another 'harmless' dent.

I shot back aiming at their windshield. The driver didn't even flinch...

Namjoon took the first exit off the empty highway and into a busy city street. Jungkook was squished behind the front seats on the floor. Namjoon wedged his car in behind a semi trailer truck. I cursed again, hitting the dash.

"Fuck, Namjoon."

"Yeah," he said, out of breath.

"Get us to the precinct, clearly there's no rest for me."
