"This might be the weirdest thing we've ever done," Alya said, staring at the wreckage of her own room.
"You don't say," Marinette muttered as she rubbed her knee. She had fallen over about a minute earlier. "I'm never wearing heels again."
Alya snorted. "They're two inches."
"Which is two more than necessary. I'm clumsy enough with flat shoes."
"Too true. But, you know, mine are three inches and I'm fine."
"Which reminds me--where did you learn to walk in heels? I've only ever seen you in tennis shoes."
"Before I moved here, I had to wear heels occasionally. I'm used to this sort of thing. Though I really would hate to try Chloe's. Must've been, what, four inches? Although they were platform heels."
Marinette shrugged. "Are you done trashing the room yet?"
"Yep." Alya opened the black-and-orange clutch Chloe had given her and pulled out a container of fake blood. Opening it, she started spreading the red stuff over everything.
"Okay, it looks good," Alya finally declared, stepping back to admire her handiwork. It looked as though she had been brutally murdered.
"About done in here?" said a voice from behind her.
"Nearly. Just got to leave a trail of blood out of here and it'll be complete."
"Good," Chloe said, walking around and coming to stand beside Alya. "Hopefully the boys are done with theirs now."
"Of course we're done with ours," Adrien said, feigning offense as he walked in with Nino. "We're heroes. We get things done."
"Stop fidgeting with your jacket," Chloe ordered. Adrien wore a black leather jacket and black pants with bright green lining as well as a bright green shirt.
"At least he didn't ruin his hair," Alya joked.
"True. That took forever." Sighing, Chloe pulled out her own container of 'blood'. "Here, let me help you."
They spread the 'blood' on the floor throughout the apartment. Marinette, Nino, and Adrien talked about what they thought their kwamis were doing.
"I bet Plagg is eating Camembert," Adrien said. "Speculating, of course, by his very specific diet."
"Tikki has a real sweet tooth. She likes cookies especially. Maybe she's eating some," Marinette said.
"Wayzz is healthy. Probably eating a salad or something," Nino guessed.
Alya laughed. "There's a 99% chance of Trixx eating chips."
"He's a carb-lover, I take it?" Adrien said, grinning.
"Yep. He loves his chips."
"I'm out of fake blood," Chloe said.
"Me too. What if we just bring the trail to the sewers or something?"
"Here. Catch," Nino said, tossing Alya his container of fake blood. "Mine still has some."
She caught it and opened it. "Thanks," she said. Looking down from the balcony, she saw a sewer grate. Turning the container upside down, she dumped the majority of the 'blood' down onto the sewer grate below. She spread the rest on the balcony.
"Looks like you died," Marinette said.
"Great. That's kind of the point." Alya stood up and brushed some dust off of her skirt. "Let's go before my parents get here."

Sorry for the short chapter. I have a lot of homework these days, so it's pretty hard for me to update. I do try to update each weekend, but if I don't, please forgive me. I'm busy all the time, but I love writing. I'll keep updating as often as possible.
