Emilie hid behind a lamppost as an akuma victim ran past her.

"What's going on?" she asked her little blue kwami.

"This world's Hawk Moth must have akumatized many people at once," Duusu said worriedly.

"I know I'm supposed to be a villain...but if what Adrienne said was true, I would have to fight my son Adrien back home. I don't think I can do that."

"Emilie, I don't know if Adrien is the current Chat Noir or not, but it's your choice what to do. We can fight with this Hawk Moth, we can help these heroes, we can run, we can return home. It's your decision, and I will support you."

Emilie considered for a minute.

"Look," Duusu said. "If you don't want to interfere, you don't have to. In fact, it might not be a good idea. This world has a Le Paon too."

"That's it! Duusu, you're a genius!" Emilie laughed. "We can find this world's Le Paon and ask him to interfere!"

"I think I know where he might be," the kwami said.

Five minutes later....

Emilie dashed around the corner of the sewing store and accidentally crashed into someone exiting the shop.

A tall, blond someone with her eyes.

"So sorry, Madame," he said. Then his eyes widened as he took in her appearance.

"You wouldn't happen to be a Monsieur Emilio Agreste, would you?" Emilie asked.

"...Yes, I am," he said hesitantly. "Who are you?"

Emilie leaned closer. Quieter, she whispered, "Are you Le Paon?"

He jerked back. "How do you know?" he asked accusingly.

"Shh! I'm you from an alternate universe, of course I know!" She sighed. "This world's Hawk Moth has akumatized a bunch of people at one time. The heroes are fighting her right now."

"I quit being a villain a long time ago. I'm not going to fight for Hawk Moth anymore."

"I'm not asking you to! I'm asking you to help the heroes!"

"I left to avoid the fighting."

"Yes, but one of the heroes is your daughter!"

Emilio stared at her. "What?"

"Adrienne Agreste! She's Chat Noire!"

"So...what do you want from me, again?" he asked slowly.

"I want you to calm down Hawk Moth. She's got to stop this or she'll destroy Paris."

He considered for a moment, glanced around.

"Come with me?" he said hopefully.

"I can't approach Hawk Moth with you...but sure, I'll come," Emilie said.

They shared a smile.

"Transform me!" they shouted at the same time.

Two flashes of blue; they became Le Paon (Les Paons? Le Paons? I have no idea) and jumped onto the roof.

"Wow, we're almost identical," Emilio said, surveying Emilie's dress and his own suit.

"We are  technically the same person." Emilie plucked a feather from her fan. "Let's go stop a Hawk Moth."

*****************

Yeah, I don't know if I should've said Le Paon singular, or if I should have put the plural (Les Paons) or anything like that.

Anyway. So yeah, Le Paon and Le Paon are headed to Hawk Moth.

Will they get there in time?
