Adrienne tried very hard to keep from messing with her immaculate outfit. Apparently Emilie had been prepared. She had put Adrienne in a leather jacket, a bright green shirt, black pants with green lining, and black leather heels. Her right hand still wore her ring. Her left wrist held a black and green watch. Emilie herself had done her hair, pulling it into a perfect, classy bun.
"And you just happened to have all this on you?" she said incredulously.
"Always prepared," Emilie said, smiling as she carefully braided Nina's hair.
"I officially hate suits," Marin said. He wore a black suit with red lining, a red tie, and a red dahlia in the pocket. He was even wearing polished black shoes.
"I never noticed," Adrienne said. "I know your miraculous is a pair of earrings, but to me, they're completely invisible. Why is that?"
"Tikki said something about nobody noticing them. Guess that's what she meant. Corey's is invisible, too, and Alyo's. Yours and Nina's are perfectly visible, though."
Adrienne glanced at her silver ring again.
"Good thing I like green," Nina said. "Dark green hoodie, light green shirt, dark green heels."
It was true. Only the pleated knee-length skirt was black.
"Can't believe I'm doing this," Gabriella said, shaking her head as she fastened her suit jacket.
"Stop yapping and let's go," Alyo said.
At the middle school
(high school? whatever)Adrienne stared up at the familiar school building. It looked exactly as it did in their world. Taking a deep breath, she led her friends up the stairs and into the courtyard.
The courtyard was full of familiar people talking. Everyone looked content to be at school. But as she looked closer, she noticed that the smiles looked exhausted. There were shadows under several people's eyes.
"Wow," Marin said. "Are we too late?"
Suddenly the kwamis who had come originally from this world zoomed out from Emilie's purse.
"The rule of Hawk Moth," Tikki said. "Come on. We must hurry."
Adrienne followed this world's Plagg through the crowd, her own Plagg safely in her pocket. The little black cat suddenly stopped as they reached someone.
A blonde, green-eyed someone in black and green.
The boy noticed Plagg floating there, as did the girl with midnight hair and blue eyes beside him.
"Plagg!" he said, smiling. This smile actually looked genuine. Then he looked past Plagg at Adrienne.
"Who are you?" he asked.
"Who are you? " Adrienne asked.
"I'm Adrien Agreste," the boy told her. "This is my friend Marinette Dupain-Cheng. If Plagg brought you here, you must be the help we asked for."
"You're Chat Noir," Adrienne said. "And you must be Ladybug."
Both nodded. Just then, Marin came through the crowd, led by Tikki.
"Did you find them, Adrienne?" he asked, then stopped short as he noticed Adrien and Marinette.
"What did you say your name was?" Marinette said, squinting at the pair.
"Um...I'm Adrienne Agreste, and this is Marin Dupain-Cheng," Adrienne said awkwardly. "We're you from another universe."
"Prove it," Adrien said.
Adrienne sighed.
"Fine," she said. She grabbed his arm and pulled him into an empty classroom. Marin and Marinette entered, too, closing the door.
"Claws out!" Adrienne said, at the same time Marin said, "Spots on!"
There was a flash of green, accompanied by a flash of red. When the light cleared, a transformed Adrienne and Marin looked at the stunned faces of their opposite selves.
"Wow," Adrien finally said. "That's uncanny."
The classroom door swung open. Alyo, Nina, and Corey pulled in an ombre-haired girl, a tall boy, and a blonde in platform heels.
"What's this about--" The ombre-hair girl stopped when she spotted Adrienne and Marin.
"This is them?" Adrienne asked her friends.
"Yes," Alyo said. "Alya Cesaire, Nino Lahiffe, Chloe Bourgeois."
"Good," Marin said. "Do they believe you?"
"No," Nina said. "Shall we?"
At the same time, all three shouted, "Transform me!"
With flashes of orange, deep green, and yellow, Adrienne's friends were transformed.
"That's...amazing and terrifying at the same time," Chloe said.
"Who are you?" Alya asked them.
"I'm Adrienne Agreste, or Chat Noire," Adrienne said. "This is Marin Dupain-Cheng, Alyo Cesaire, Nina Lahiffe, and Corey Bourgeois. Ladybeetle, Volpine, Carapace, and King Bee, respectively."
Once again, the classroom door swung open.
"You found them," Gabriella said. "Good."
"The damage caused by Hawk Moth is still reversible," Emilio said. "We'll have to act fast, though."
But Adrienne knew that it was the figure between them that caused Adrien to gasp.
"Mom?" he whispered.
Emilie nodded. Nino looked between the two.
"Holy sh*t," he said.

School ends in a week and a half! Yay!
I will be working on some sort of updating schedule if I can. I promise to update at least one story per week, probably this one. Hopefully I can update multiple times per week.
Also. In about...oh, I don't know...six parts, roughly, this story will end. There will be a sequel though, so bear with me. Title for said sequel is undetermined.
Thank you for supporting this story! Love you all!
