Chapter 16 Seven More

(Camila's POV)

Darkness was all that my eyes could see

I tried to see if I could feel anything around me

"Is she awake?" I heard someone besides me, say

The voice was young, the girl couldn't be any older then 7 or 8

No one answerd her, but I knew that there were other people around me

"Who's there?" I asked

Once again, there was no answer

We hit a bump and I knew that we were in a car somewhere

"Girls, I won't hurt you. My name is Camila, I will help you, but I need to know where we are and what's going on. " I told them

"Th-they're are men that took us from our home, we don't know who or what they are, but they took us" a girl told me

"What men" I asked, looking around trying to see something....anything

"We don't know. They brought you in yesterday, but I've been stuck here for 4 days" she said, grabbing my hand

I felt someone's hands go behind my head and untying something

"Better?" A girl around six or seven asked me.

It must've been the girl that asked if I was awake.

I squinted my eyes letting them adjust to the bright lights around me, then I gasped when I saw what was in front of me.

There were girls, girls from the ages of six up to maybe 16 or 17.

I looked around to see them all huddled together.

We were in the truck everything was so quiet

"What is this place?" I asked, but then we hit another bump

I heard someone start crying

"No honey, shhh, it's okay, I'll protect you, everything will be fine" I promised her

She cuddeld up to my side

"What is your name?" I asked her, looking down at her

There was a glint of red in her eyes, but I ignored it

"Holly" she told me

"Listen to me Holly, everything will be fine. I have friends, they going to find us. I promise you, they going to find all of us and they are going help us get home. I swear to you, I won't let anyone hurt any of you" I said raising my voice so that every single girl in the car heard me

All the sudden I felt the car stop, jerking me forwards I nearly fell on top of the girls in front of me

"oh my god they're coming" I heard the girls say

I took a deep breath and prepared myself, to confront the men that were going to open the doors

I waited, along with all the girls in the car

We waited and waited and waited, but all we heard were bangs and smashing

'It has to be them' I told myself, closing my eyes and smiling

My smile soon turned into a frown and I felt my stomach knot up

I took a deep breath and screamed

All I could do was scream

Then everything went silent

I looked around to see all the girls covering your ears
