Chapter 23 Marriage

(Camila's POV)

"I'm your mother El and this is Roy, your betrothed" said the woman infront of me

"The hell he is" I laughed, getting up out of bed

"Camila" my mates all growled at me

"Look, no offence dude, but I already have 6 mates and they already try to kill themselfs among eachother, over me. I'm really doing this for your benefit, you don't want to have 4 cranky alphas on your back, 2 snippy betas, and ontop of that 1 over protective big brother. Just leave now, we are getting married. Now if you'll all excuse me, I really, really, want nachos" I said, walking past the blonde infront of me

I felt someone grab my arm and pull me back

"You're an amazing young woman" I heard Dylan whispare in my ear and then kiss my cheek

I giggled and walked away, leaving my mates and my brother, with a huge smile on their faces

"Camila" I heard the woman....El call out to me

I didn't stop walking, for I didn't want to hear her

"Camila, I understand you may not want to marry him, but you do need to hear him out, you two were. engaged long before you were even born

"How the hell does that work?" I asked, getting out some cheese, jalapenos and the nachos

"Well, for starters, don't talk to me with such crude words" she told me

"What the hell about the word hell is crude?" I asked her, pushing her buttons

"Camila" I heard Dylan walk into the kitchen with the rest of the boys

"What, the word hell isn't crude" I told him, sounding exasperated

He rolled his eyes and made my nochos for me

I smiled at him and turned to look at the woman, my so called mother, who was standing infront of me

"Well?" I asked

She huffed and continued talking

"When I was engaged to your father, your biological father, he told me that we would have a little girl, that this would be happening, he told me about everything that is happening, and of what is to come" she told me

"Wait what, where is he and what do you mean?" I asked her

"Your father is a fairy, he had the power of foretelling the future" she told me

"I'm sorry, how old are you?" I asked her

"I'm 45" she told me

"How long have you been 45" I asked her, frowning my eyebrows

"For a while now" she laughed

Dylan placed my bowl of nachos infront of me and started walking away

I grabbed his arm and pulled him back, kissing his cheek lightly

"Thank you" I told him

He smiled widly and nodded his head and took one of my chips, covered in cheese

I turned back to El and looked into her eyes

"Well you don't look it" I told her

"Arn't you going to ask me?" she asked

"Ask you what?" i asked her

"About what is going to happen" she said

"I don't what to know" I told her

"Really" she asked

"Yeah, really, I know that so far, things are really weird and everything the has been kept from me, is a little on the crazy side, but it's been good so far. I like what my life is like and I wouldn't want to be burdened with knowing what will happen, because if I do, it would just be boring" I told her, eating my chips

"You are more like your father, then I thought" she smiled

"Did you love him?" I asked her

She stayed silent for a while

"No, not at first. At first it was just an obligation, but as we were spending time together, I realized that he was a good man" she said

"So you were forced into an marriage as well" I asked her

"It's something that we do" she told me

"Why" Oran asked, speaking for the first time, sense we got down here

"Because it's...reassurance, reassurance that our species will reproduce. You see banshee blood is a lot stronger then other supernatural blood. Our blood mixed with other blood can produce even stronger children. But if you were to mate with a werewolf, their blood would be stronger and they would most likly be more werewolf then they are banshee" she told us

"What is a banshee" I asked him

We talked for a while, her telling me about her and our power

Before we knew it, the sun was going down

"Who's hungry?" I heard Asher ask

"I am"

"Me"

"Me too"

"Food"

"Give me bacon"

Everyone called out

El and Roy excused themselfs, saying that they had stuff to do

"Wait" I called out to Roy

He stopped walking and turned to look at me

"I'm sorry, but you know that we can't....you know" I told him

"You'll realize soon that you need me more then you think" he promised and touched my cheek

I shifted away and looked into his blue eyes

"Good night Camila" he said and walked away

I took a deep breath and walked away from him

"Hey, are you alright" I heard Luca ask, as I walked in the kitchen

"I'm good" I smiled at him "El said she would be back tomorrow" I told them

They nodded and sat down around the table

"You start school tomorrow" Oran told me

"Oh, the joy of high school" I smiled at him

"Well, you'll need a lot of the kids from my packs" Mateo said

"Okay" I said, yawning

"Eat, then sleep" Sebastian told me

Bossy

I did what I was told and ate

Not long after, I was ready for bed and I was little falling over, from how tired I was

"Goodnight" I called out to the guys

"Night" the said and I walked up to my bedroom

I quickly hopped into the shower and then dried my body once I was done

I changed into an oversized t-shirt and and panties and then got into my bed, nuzzling the blakets

Soon, darkness consumed me and I welcomed the night
