Chapter 40 Wait

(Camila's POV)

I was seated around the round table, Luca, Oran, Ky, Julia, and Joey were all seated around me, looking down

"Will someone please tell me what is going on?" I asked for the seventh time "And stop looking down at your hands" I growled

Their heads all shot up

"Camila, there is a lot that has to be said" Ky told me

"Then I guess it's good it's a good thing we have time" I said, rolling my eyes

"You can't trust them, not any of them" Oran said again

"What, why?" I asked him "where have you been all this time?" I stood up, pacing back-and-forth

"I never died, I was always here, always looking after you. It was a part of my plan" he told me, getting up and holding on to me

"What do you mean? What plan?" I asked Oran

"You have to sit down and let me explain, otherwise, you won't understand anything" he said to me

"But-" I started

"Camila, please, just trust me" he begged

I took a deep breath and sat down

"It all started three months ago" he started

(Oran's POV)

"It's all started three months ago" I said, looking down at my sister

How do I do this, how can I tell her the truth, without killing her on the inside

"Everything was normal, the guys were all laughing, Dylan was pouting, Bay was being a goofball, Mateo was being serious, and Asher was smiling. I had felt a pain in my chest, mom dad and our brother, we're all dead. But, I knew that you were alive. Weeks before we came back home, all of the Alpha's had been acting really weird. They were moody and didn't want to talk to anyone. One day, I followed them into the woods. There was fire everywhere. They were surrounded themselves in it, and yhey were protecting something... Someone" I told her, looking at Julian Joey

I turned to Camila and saw confusion written all over her face

"There was a girl, conjuring them. She had been having them do what she wanted for over a year. All the girls that were disappearing, we're being taken by orders of not the woman, but the man. He has been taking girls as sacrificial lambs. For some reason you have sparked his interest" I said

"What?" She asked me

"When we were back home, I thought that if we came here, they would leave the guys alone, but he is everywhere" I said, standing up

"Who is he?" Camila asked

"I don't know, but I've been spying on them and they were still talking to the guys" I told her

"So you mean to tell me, that my mates are selling women as sacrifices and they don't even know?" Camila asked me

"No, they know, they just don't care" Ky spoke up

"No, we don't know, we assume they don't, but we aren't sure" Luca said

"Wait, I don't understand, why is it that Sebastian is affected, but you're not" Camila asked, running her fingers through her hair

"Sebastian is not affected, he is staying with them to know what they are saying and planning to do. They were ordered to kill Oran. The only reason we know that is because Sebastian was with them, when the woman ordered them to" Luca said
