Chapter 50 Baby? Pregnant?

(Camila's POV)

I staired at Darla with an open mouth

"B-baby?" Bash and Luca both stuttered

"It's not unusual for a Luna to get impregnated the first time she layes with her mates" Darla said, properly

"Umm, baby? Pregnant?" I asked

"Do not worry, she is fine" Darla smiled

"She?" everyone asked

"Yes, a little girl. Your daughter" she smiled, looking up at Bash

"Baby?" He asked again

I put my hand on the counter, trying to hold myself up

I started feeling my legs go out on me

"I knew you smelled different" Oran mumbled, smiling

I didn't know whether to be happy or sad

I had a great mother growing up, but due to recent events, I had no idea what this child would be

I mean, I was a banshee and its...her father was a werewolf

What would she be?

Half banshee, half wolf

Would one one be stronger than the other?

What kind of world would she live in, if we couldn't save her other fathers?

What would Mateo, Dylan, Bay, and Asher say?

Most importantly, would she die as well, if we went through with this?

I felt someone rest their hand on my shoulder, as he wheels turned in my head

"Just calm down. Sit down and breath deeply" Darla smiled at me, kindly

I did as she sad and sat down

"You're pregnant" Oran whispered, smiling at me

I nodded, feeling a small smile grow on my face

"You're pregnant" he whisperd again, walking over to me

I looked up, watching his eyes carefully

"You're pregnant!" He yelled, wrapping his arms around me and hugging me tightly to him

I giggled as he picked me up off the chair

"I'm going to be an uncle!" He shouted, hugging me as he danced a little

I laughed, going along with his little jig

"Oh my god, you're going to have a little girl, a little Camila!" He stopped jumping and dancing all together, to look into my eyes

He was breathing hard, staring into my eyes

"You are going to be a wonderful mother" he said, calmly and collected

There was something different about the way he said this

Like it wasn't a question, but a statement

Like he knew it to be true

I was going to be a mother

I turned around to look at Bash and Luca

They both looked even more surprised and maybe even confused

"What is it?" I asked them

They took a while to answer

It was almost like they didn't know how

Like they didn't want to imply anything or make me feel bad

"Camila, we can't....we can't have children" Luca said to me

I was so confused

"What do you mean? I mean oviously you can, how else would I get pregnant?" I asked, sitting up straighter

"Camila, the men in our family, we've never been able to...have children" Sebastian said to me

"Well then how did your parents have you?" I asked, looking looking into their eyes

They stayed silent

"Magic" Ky interrupted

"But magic always comes with a price" Bash said

"Atleast when you're toying with someone's life" Luca said

"Our father was one with this affliction. After they found eachother, they tried for a long time to get pregnant" both twins said

"After it didn't happen, they dicided to go our elders. They had never seen my anything like it, so they dicided to go to the next best thing.... a witch" Bash continued

I sat calmly on my chair, looking up at my mates

My heart was racing and I didn't like where this was going

"The witch gave my mother a beautiful baby girl. The child died at birth. When they returned to the witch to ask what had happend, she told our parents that they hadn't made a sacrifice" Luca said

"You see, our parents were trying to give life from nothing. They were giving a life, so they had to take one as well. They had to maintain balance on earth and when they didn't take the life of someone, the world rejected her, so she died" Sebastian said

"Who did they kill...you know, to have you two?" Joey asked

"For some reason she only needed one sacrifice. Or atleast that's what we were told" Luca sighed

They still hadn't answered us

"Who did they chose?" I asked

"They didn't" Luca said

"Then who did?" I asked

"We don't know, all we know is that after our mother gave birth to us, she died" Both twins said
