Apologies for being terribly late >.<'---
I love my sister Ham so much. She's just everything to me. From acting like an overprotective parent to being my personal diary and also a moral teacher; she's everything. My world revolves around her, and hers around me. We are nothing without one another.
We have been inseparable since birth. No, you might be thinking we're conjoined twins or something but we're separable in a physical way. We are inseparable in an emotional way.
Many people are close to their mom or their dad or best friends, but I'm not close to any of them. In all honesty, I'm more attached to my sister than my parents. She's my life. If anything wrong happens in her life it directly affects me as well.
Most of the times my parents dislike Ham because she's childish and lazy, and tell her to be more responsible and mature like me. That's the reason I'm not that close to my parents, because I don't like the way they treat Ham. But whatever the circumstance in the end we all love each other unconditionally. I love the times when mom surprises us by making us our favorite dishes or sweets and dad makes our boredom disappear by taking us out somewhere. I love my family.
Once upon a time Ham and I used to be a part of the 'Four Musketeers' that was me, Ham, Macy and Cedric. Cedric is our cousin and Macy was our best friend. We knew that there was no such thing as four musketeers but who cared? We were not writing some fiction anyway.
I miss those days so much. Cedric left, Macy hates us for who-knows-what reason and then life went downhill. I wish the four of us could be together again. But as long as I have Ham by my side, I don't care about anyone. I can't even imagine a life without my twin.
If we entered this world together, it would only make sense if we left together too. That was a promise that Ham and I made to each other, that we would never leave one another.
Thinking about present, mom is probably making brownies. I told mom to make extra for me because every time she won't leave any for us and serve everything to the guests.
"Hannah, will you please go to the supermarket and buy me some chocolate? I just noticed that there are no chocolates for the brownie," mom said while wiping her hands on her apron as she stepped out of the kitchen.
I knew that Ham would quickly put it on me, so I pretended to be studying with full concentration as I adjusted my specs. No doubt I love Ham to no extent, but today I don't feel like doing any work and I know Ham is lazy.
"Hey Hail..." she started but then I quickly cut her off saying, "Hey Ham."
"I was thinking if you'd help mom and get her some chocolates..." she said as she sat on the couch and gave me her puppy eyes.
Oh come on! She knows that her puppy eyes always work at me.
I glared at her before I stated, "Fine." She jumped with happiness when I closed my books and went to mom to take money from her.
I mentally smiled as I noticed Ham's happy figure. Silly twin. I quickly put on my blue sneakers and said, "Bye mom, bye Ham," before going out the door.
Normally I like going out for work or anything but today I was just not feeling like it. Perhaps Ham could accompany me? But then she begged me with those puppy eyes of hers which I just can't ignore.
Some old school friend of dad is coming over and said that he'll bring his daughter along who loves brownies.
I mean, that was indirectly asking that he wants to eat brownies here, right? Who does that?
