Chapter 5- Tomato Steal Your Girl

Luka POV
It's Monday, I am getting ready for school. I decide to wear my normal black ripped jeans, a short sleeve plain white t-shirt, and a hoodie.
(This is the hoodie)

As I'm about to leave for school I notice Juleka is still in bed. She normally gets up about the same time as I do...I'll go check on her. I walk over to her side of the room and says softly but still audible,
"Hey Juleka...it's time to get up and go to school...you have to get up and get ready or else you'll be late..."
"I don't feel well..." Juleka mumbles, rolling over to face me.
"Was it the Nutella and macaroons?" I ask calmly. Oh No! Did I cause her to get sick!?!?!
"No...I wasn't very hungry then...so I am saving them for later...I feel like I'm on fire though...and my nose is so stuffy I can't breathe through it...and I really don't feel well..."
"You're sick."
"Thanks Captain Obvious...can you please call Rose and tell her that I won't be going to school today..."
"Ok." Juleka hands me her phone and I call Rose. When she accepts the call I put her on speaker phone.
Rose: Hello!
Me: Hey Rose, this is Luka, Juleka is not feeling very well today. So she won't be going to school today...or until she gets better...
Rose: I'm on my way!
Juleka: Rose no...I'm fine you go to school...
Rose: No! You sound awful! I will be there with supplies as fast as I can!
*End Call*
"Rose..." Juleka sighs.
"Luka...when Rose gets here you go to school...I'll be fine...and knowing Rose I will be well taken care of...her heart is too big sometimes...I really don't want her to get sick..."
"Ok..." I reply.
When Rose Arrives...
"Luka! You go to school, you can get notes for Juleka while she's out sick. I will keep you updated for the rest of the day on how she's feeling...ok?"
"Got, Rose." I say goodbye to Rose and Juleka and go off to school.
As I'm off to school I send Marinette a text explaining that my sisters late and whatnot.
When I finally get to school its almost lunchtime. I go over to Madame Bustier and explain to her that Juleka is sick and Rose is taking care of her because...Rose is like a little angel at times.
"I understand. Tell Juleka I hope she feels better!" Madame Bustier said, concern and sympathy in her voice.
"I will." I reply and go to my locker. I get everything I will need for Madame Bustier's class and go to the front of the school to wait until lunchtime is over. I take out the ring I am going to give Marinette today. I hope she likes it...

Marinette POV...Morning
I wake up. I get ready for school...hmm...what to wear...I know!

And I will let my hair down...I look great! I run downstairs and grab a chocolate croissant for breakfast, grab my new lunch box with my lunch already in it, grabbed cookies for Tikki and ran off to school.
When I walked in the classroom I noticed Luka wasn't there...hmm...maybe he's running late. My phone then beeps. Alya texted me...
Alya: Hey girl, Nino and I won't be at school today. More Chloé shenanigans...
Me: What did she blame you both for this time...
Alya: Stealing one-of-a-kind Ladybug action figure...she acts like she is the only one who has it...50 were made!!!! I have one too!!! Jeez...this girl will be the death of me
Me: Aww...so I know why you can't be here today...why can't Nino make it?
Alya: Chloé called his music trash...
Me: Ugh...Chloé...why...
Alya: I know...well I better go...bye Marinette! :)
Me: Bye Alya! :)
Well...I'm going to be alone for a while...
"U-Umm...h-hey M-Marinette..." I turn around to see Nathanael.
"Oh, Hey Nathanael! What's up?"
"N-Nothing m-m-much...you?"
"Same here."
"C-C-Could we h-hang o-out t-t-today...unless y-you don't w-want t-to..."
"Don't worry, you can hang out with me today!" I give Nathanael a reassuring smile. He smiles back and looks a little better, a little more relaxed. We continue to chat and Nathanael shows me some of his artwork. He's really good drawing. Nathanael goes back to his seat when Madame Bustier begins class.
Lunchtime...
Luka still isn't here yet...has something happened?!?!?
"H-Hey...would you like to have lunch with me...today?" Nathanael asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Sure!" I reply with a smile.
We go to the park to have lunch.
I take out my lunch and begin eating.

Nathanael took out his lunch, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and began eating. We ate in silence for a bit, only having small talk here and there. Still, it was actually kind of nice to hang out with Nathanael. I then got a text. It was from Luka. It said that Juleka was sick, Rose was taking care of her, and he is on his way to school. *sigh of relief* that's good. Nathanael and I begin to talk about art and drawing and what not.

Adrien POV
Nathanael now too!??!???? MARINETTE WHY......?!??!?!?!?? You will be mine Marinette...even if I have to eliminate Nathanael and Luka...they are better off out of the picture...now how to dispose of them...I know I can't just walk up to them and murder him...I know what to do for Nathanael...and it will tie in perfectly with how I'm going to get rid of Luka...*evil laughter*

Marinette POV
When I get to the front of the school when lunch time is over I see Luka. As soon as he spots me his eyes light up. As I begin to walk towards Luka, Nathanael grabs my wrist. I stop walking and turn around to face him.
"Yes?" I ask.
"Umm...w-would you like to go...with me...to the movies tomorrow...?" He asks nervously.
"Sure! That sounds like fun."
"Umm...we should settle a time and what movie and...stuff..."
"Hmm...how about we see an action movie!"
"Ok, and..."
"Hmm...let's think of a good time..."
"Lunch Time is over we better get to class."
With that, Nathanael and I run off to class.
End of Day...
Nathanael and I are still talking about the movie when I remember Luka. I say goodbye to Nathanael and run off. I'm not sure where Luka would be so I decide to text him.
Me: Hey Luka, How is Juleka doing? Also...where are you?
*after 10 minuets...no response*
Huh...he's probably busy. I will just go home and start on homework. I walk home.
As I'm walking home I get this strange feeling...as if I'm being watched. I do my best to ignore it. Once I'm home and in my room, I sit down on my bed and start writing this essay. It's very boring, but I don't want to fail this class. I hear a scream. I go up to my balcony and see fire. Lots of fire.
"I think there is another akuma, Marinette." Tikki says.
"I think so too. It's very strange that there in one now though...there hasn't been one in a while." I question.
"We can get back to this topic, but you need to transform!"
"Tikki, Spots On!"
