Juleka POV Everything is black. It's so dark here... Where is here? I slowly open my eyes and I'm instantly blinded by a very bright white light... I was laying down... But the most important thing was that standing above me...
I gasp.
"M-Mom...Luka..." I feel tears fill my eyes. "Hi, Sis," Luka chuckled with a bright smile on his face. "Hello, Juleka," Mom says with a big smile on her face. "You're here early..." Mom's smile slowly turns into a frown. Luka reaches out his hand to help me up. I take it. "I...I really...really missed you..." I say to Mom and Luka, tears slowly falling from my watery eyes. "We miss you, too...but we are still with you," Luka says softly. "We will always be with you, Juleka. We love you. You are the best daughter a mother could have asked for..." Mom says, drifting off the last. "We will always be watching over you. We care about you. You are the best sister a brother could ask for..." Luka continues. "You need to go back. Your friends love and need you...they are all there for you...you aren't alone..." Mom says softly. "Just look..." Luka says, pointing to an oval shaped hole in the bright area. I walk towards the hole and look through to see...
Me.
I'm on a hospital bed. I'm hooked up to a machine of some kind. There is someone sitting next to the bed.
Rose... Her normally bright and cheerful eyes are dull and drained of happiness. She has a a frown on her face... Tears are flowing down her face like a waterfall... I've never seen her this sad before...
"She really cares about you, Juleka," I hear Mom say behind me. "You should go back," I head Luka say. I turn around towards them. They have smiles on there faces. "But...I don't want to leave you both..." I whisper. "We will always be with you...you can never leave us..." Luka and Mom say softly, walking towards me. They engulf me in a warm hug. I begin to cry. I hug them back. "Don't worry, Sis...we'll meet again when it's time..." I hear Luka whisper.
I then feel their warmth leave me.
I slowly open my eyes. I'm...in a hospital room? I slowly sit up. "Juleka!" I am then engulfed in a hug. I smell Rose's flowery sent. I feel my shoulder get soaked with Rose's tears. I smile. I hug Rose back. I know Rose is smiling too. "I was so worried...I thought I lost you..." Rose whispers shakily. "I'm sorry..." Is all I could think to say in response. "Please don't try anything like that again...you mean so much to me Juleka...I love you..."
"...I love you, too."
