So heyo guys! 20th chapter OH MAH GAWSH. I've seen a few fan fictions that only go to chapter 25 and I'm not sure if that's because Wattpad won't let you go any further or because they just wanted to end it there. Either way, if that's all or not I may end at chapter 25. If not, I won't go farther than chapter 30. I might even make a sequel. But only if I know you guys like it! Comment your feedback and vote...It's all up to you!
Hope you enjoooooyyyy...

John woke up on Mary's couch the next morning, feeling like he hadn't slept in days. He'd been up until close to 5 AM last night, just thinking about Sherlock. What woke him up was the sound of frying and the smell of bacon.
"Good morning, John. I'm making French toast and bacon. Is that good?"
"Yeah, that's...That's great."
John didn't exactly feel like eating. It wasn't that he wasn't hungry, that would be a lie, but he felt sick. He felt empty, and food was not going to fill that emptiness.
But he didn't want to say no. Mary had been so nice to give him somewhere to stay and even cook him breakfast, the least he could do was eat.
He sat down at the kitchen table across from Mary. His food portion was small-- One French toast and two pieces of bacon. She knew he'd be too upset to eat much, but understood he had to eat something.
"If you want more, there's more. Just let me know."
"I can't thank you enough, Mary, honestly."
"Nonsense, it's great to have you here."
"Nah, that's a lie. I'm a miserable lump. Certainly not the best person to have over at the moment."
"Do you...Want to talk about it?"
"Well I know I should, but...I don't know what there is to say. I just...I was so stupid and it slipped out and...Oh, God..."
Mary placed her hand on top of John's, deep sorrow in her eyes. Did she know how he felt?
"I've said stupid things before too, we all have. Things will be okay, I promise."
"I just don't know what I'll do if we...If...If we..." John dropped his head into his hands.
"John, that won't happen. I know you'll find a way to love again, it's not over."
"But now I'm thinking...Maybe leaving wasn't such a good idea. Maybe he thinks it's over now..."
"You'll return to him. Then you can explain."
The two finished their food in silence. Finally, Mary stood up.
"I'm going to go get some groceries. You uh...Sit tight."
"No, please, let me."
"John, that's quite alright..."
"No, it's the least I can do."
"Okay, fine," Mary passed him a slip of paper, "This is the shopping list. Here's some cash."
"I'll pay."
"No, I can't let you do that. You've been out of work, save your money."
"Thanks," John sighed, "Just let me get dressed, then I'll be off."
He wore his black-and-white striped jumper, and the brown scarf Sherlock got him for Christmas. He slipped on his usual jacket and pocketed the list and money, then set off with a shopping bag.
