(y/n)

Warmth hit me like a bullet the second we entered the restaurant. There were monsters everywhere. And they all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Sans then led me to the back, where we found seats at the bar.

Behind the counter was a monster completely made of fire.

"Hey Grillby, mind getting me the usual?" Sans questioned.

Grillby nodded before going to a room in the back. Most likely to prepare Sans' order.

"And what would you like?" Sans questioned.

"Whatever is the cheapest. You already had to buy clothes for me. I don't want to trouble you any further." I answered.

"(y/n), you aren't troubling me. Relax, I'll just put it on my tab. It's already too much to pay back anyways. Adding one more meal won't be any trouble." Sans explained.

I frowned, but smiled once I knew how I could make it back to Sans.

Underneath my shirt was my amulet that my father gave me to me a long time ago. It reminds me of the good times I used to have with my father. But... Since I'm almost 100% certain that those times will never return...

I watched as (y/n) pulled out a beautiful amulet from underneath her shirt. It looked very precious and valuable.

"Woah Kid. You're not doing what I think you're doing-"

(y/n) then turned to Grillby, who had just returned with my order.

"Grillby, would this be enough to pay off Sans' tab?" (y/n) questioned.

Grillby inspected the amulet before nodding.

"(y/n), I can't let you-"

"Done."

(y/n) then handed Grillby the amulet.

"By the way, can I have (Meal)?" (y/n) questioned.

Grillby nodded once more, before heading into the back room.

Once he was gone, I turned to (y/n).

"Why'd you do that?" I questioned.

"Because, I want to help you in any way possible. After all, you're letting me stay with you. It's the least I can do." (y/n) explained.

I sighed in defeat, making (y/n) giggle.

"I don't see why you're so upset. I just paid off your massive tab."

Guess she's right...

... But still...

"I guess you do make a good point."

"Glad to see you're finally starting to think my way. You should probably eat your food before it gets cold."

"I was just waiting for your food to come. It's rude to eat before everyone's food is served." I explained.

"No need. I'm no one special."

For a princess, she is very humble.

"If you say so." I said, before grabbing the ketchup and dousing my burger in it.

(y/n)

Wow. He must really love his ketchup.

Sans must've caught me staring, because he gave me a curious look.

"What? Never seen ketchup before?" Sans questioned.

"Not for the use of soaking a hamburger, no." I answered.
