[a/n #2: Hello, everyone! It's me from the future! August 2020 to be specific. So Zoom just crashed, and my school therefore cannot use it until further notice. Instead of using this newfound free time to do the things my teachers told me to do, I will abuse it and fix a little something in this chapter. If you are returning to this chapter, you probably remember the part about Nova's favorite stores (a lot of fast fashion stores that you can find at pretty much any strip mall), and many people find that cringy. I 110% agree. Listen, I was fifteen when I started writing this, so please give me a break. I don't shop at those places anymore; I mostly thrift nowadays. But the whole point of this author's note is to tell you all that I will delete the bullet point about her favorite stores eventually be changing those stores to more high-end and ethical brands (I still gotta research some good ones). I mean, come on. The girl's multi-millionare! She won't be spending her money on the fast fashion industry. If you're new to the story and see any comments that don't seem to fit anywhere, those were probably about what I (ahem) originally wrote to be her favorite stores. Also, if you find my writing cringy, it gets better as the story goes on, I promise. Anyway, I've been rambling for too long. Go on and enjoy the story!]

Facts

- Nova's dad is Korean, and her mom is Filipino-American. They met and got married in Chicago, United States. When she was 10, she and her family moved to Donghae City, South Korea.

- She has a younger sister named Paula

- She is fluent in English and Korean and knows basic Japanese

- She chose the unique stage name "Nova" because of her love of science (especially astronomy and astrology)

- She plays the violin

- Nova started dancing when she was three years old

We would be all cozied up in our pajamas and eating pizza and splitting a nice bottle of merlot or Malbec. Or maybe Rosé. It depends on what I'm up for that night. (Laugh)"

- Other members say she curses a lot more than one would think. She's just really good at censoring herself when in public.

- Other members like to tease her with mistletoe because they know she gets freaked out around it (she isn't scared of it like she is of spiders, she just doesn't like being around because she doesn't want to kiss anyone)

- Her favorite type of weather is a thunderstorm because she likes to watch them pass

- In the new dorm, she has her own room

Nova's ideal type is a guy who is sweet, the same age as her or at most three years older, is taller than her, is funny and cute, likes dancing and music, has good hair, is smart, and has common sense.
