Chapter 14

Fabiola's Pov.

I didn't go to Marco's house rather i went to mine. I slept off immediately having my bath not waiting for Carmen to come back. I didn't even eat.

Marco called me yesterday but i was fast asleep and my phone was downstairs. I'll call him when i get to the store. I took a quick shower without washing my hair and quickly put on the normal jeans and sweatshirt with sandals.

Driving to the store in my car,there was a little traffic. I checked the time and it was a 8:11am. I decided to call Marco and put the phone on speaker. He picked after the second ring.

"Mi Amor" his fine sweet morning voice greeted me.
"Hello baby,are you still sleeping?" I asked him smiling.
"No,i just got up. How are you?" I heard him yawn.
"I'm Okay. Sorry i didn't pick up yesterday,i was sleeping."
"It's fine. Carmen told me she saw you sleeping. You should have come back to the house. I thought i'd meet you there." I got to the mall and parked in the usual spot i do everytime.
"No,i went home straight." I truly had nothing else to say. "Babe,i'll call you later. I just got to work. Bye."
"Love you." He said and hung up.

I picked up my sling bag from the passengers seat and got out of the car. Walking swiftly into the mall,i saw Carlos at my post and some other employees. What's going on? It's possibly nothing.

"Goodmorning Mr Carlos." I said to him. He smiled in a sorry way.
"Fabiola,i'm really sorry. I don't know what happened. The boss asked me to give you this today. Please have it." He handed me a letter and walked away. The other employees came to hug me one by one. Some saying 'i'll miss you'.

They all left me and i opened the envelope to reveal a - Sack letter? My eyes widen at the reality. 'What have i done wrong? Why were they firing me?' I was about to walk into Carlos' office when something crept into my thoughts.

"Oh Shit! It was that bastard Jose. OMG!" I immediately turned back and walked to my car driving out with speed. Oh he's going to hear it from me today. I was driving to the Hotel to ask Jose what i did wrong.

On my way there,i called Carmen and she told me to take things easy. I was upset at the reason he was going to make me jobless. I know my boyfriend has money but still i can't rely solely on him. That will just be so unfair.

I got to the hotel in a bit of an hour and walked in. The security knew me making it easier for me to get in. I walked into the reception and stomped right to the elevator without waiting to ask if he was in a meeting. The receptionist followed me but i got into the elevator and quickly went to the 12th. She kept asking questions and i'm sure she took the stairs.

Ding! The elevator stopped and i walked out without waiting for it to open up completely. I walked to the office of the Jerk and without knocing,opened it with force. He looked from his eye level as he was sitting down with a friend. They were both laughing until i came in. We looked at each other and they both got up from their seats.

"Fabiola?" Jose said.
I held my hand out in a bid to shut him up. "Goodday young lady." The other guy said,smiling. I recognized him. Rodrigo. Jose's best friend.
Just then the receptionist came in breathing heavily. "I-I'm sorry S-sir. I -I couldn't s-s-stop h-her."
"It's alright. You may leave." Jose said to her. She gave me such a glare. I shot back at her. She closed the door behind her. "I'll leave you too then." Rodrigo said and left smirking. Idiot!

Jose stared at me,smirking the same way. "Hello sweetheart."
"Don't you dare! How could you do this to me?" I threw the paper in his face. "I did it so you'd come back to the company. I'm going to the other company and i want you to come with me. Is that wrong?"
"You just love playing with me,don't you? What kind of person are you?"
He moved closer to me and i moved back two steps. He saw what i did and he pushed me till my back hit the door. I tried to push him but he didn't budge.
"What you did yesterday won't work today fabiola. You have a choice and a bigger one at that. Come work with me and i'll triple your pay. That's all i want." He whispered into my ear. My breathing was rising. He looked me in my ears and held my cheeks in his palm. His blue eyes stared into mine.
"I despise you so much,Jose."
"I love you more,Fabiola."

He leaned in quickly and caught my lips. He was pressing against me and i couldn't prevent it. He kissed me like it was the end of the world. I kept struggling but it was of no use,he was stronger than me. He allowed his tongue in and continued. It was so heated. He held my waist firmly and kept on kissing me,bringing me closer to his body.

I only thought of one person.
