Chapter 6

Fabi

As soon as i close the door behind me,i see my boss;Jose Sandoval leaning against the wall opposite me. He gave me a disgusted look and said,"You're fired."

I thought i felt the building collapsing,i looked up to see nothing crashing my way.

My eyes widen when i come back to reality and my heart beats faster.

"What's that,i'm fired Sir?"

"Yes you are" he says it so calmly and begins to walk to the elevator. I quickly walk to his front making him pause.

"B-but Sir,i haven't done anything wrong. I was only doing what i was asked to do."

"Well,were you asked to follow him into the suite?". He puts one hand into his pocket. "I asked you to welcome him,not to act like a fucking whore!. He yelled at me.

Ohhh that did it.

I slapped him. Twice. Across his dirty face. He was shocked and held his cheeks while looking at me. People began to gather.

I moved closer to him and pointed my finger at him.

"I think i've had enough of you Mr Sandoval,i've been at this job for 2 whole weeks and yet you don't know my name. You act like i'm dust. You give me orders like a maniac and i do it like a dog. But this time,i don't want to do this anymore. I'm sick of you this silly idiot and oh one last thing,you don't need to fire me because you know why,i quit!!".

I was upset and everybody was just staring.

Marco had already come out of his suite and had a confused look on his face wondering what was going on. Someone was explaining to him.

I removed the tag on my skirt and threw it in his face. He was so shocked at my outburst. He probably couldn't believe anyone could talk to him like that.

I left the company packing my stuffs from the office without saying a word to anyone and drove straight home.

I cried on my way home,no one has ever spoken to me in that manner.

I got into the apartment,took off my shoes and threw my body unto the couch still crying. "You're a jerk,sandoval,a big one." I snooze off to sleep.

7:45pm;Home.

Carmen

I walk into the house to see the lights on and a pair of shoes on the floor. I look straight ahead and see fabiola snuggled in the couch. I walk to her,"Fabiola,are you okay?".
She sat up."No,i just lost my job as my boss called me names"

"Names, but why?"
"Because he saw me coming out of marco's suite. I'm so sorry,i know you worked so hard to get the job for me but i couldn't handle him anymore"

"Oh it's okay"

"I probably will not get any other job here again,ai chincha.
And marco had to buy a new car."

I laughed,"He's got the money babe.No worries."
"Yeah i'm going to shower,you rick carmen and so do i."

I looked at her and we both laughed our heads off as she walked upstairs.

Walking into the kitchen,opened the fridge and took out wafers and coke and went upstairs. When i got there,i hear shower running. She doesn't waste time,huh?. I dropped the stuffs on the table and went to the other room to have my bath.

Few Mins later.

I walk back into the room fabi and i shared and see she's naked. Trying to find something to wear,she asks me; "Shaved well?" and i gave her a thumbs up. We always had our baths together since we were children so nothing new.

I put on shorts and a crop top while she puts on a long shirt that says 'Nap Queen'.

We share the coke and wafers and talk a bit more. She told me she liked marco. Just great. I roll my eyes.

She moves to bed and i do the same saying goodnight to each other.
