Chapter 9

The next day,i woke up at exactly 6:30am,checked my mail and replied the ones i needed to. Carmen was still sleeping. Sleepy head. "I might just hit her right now but oh no,i don't want to die just yet." I laughed softly while taking off my clothes and putting it into the laundry bag. I wrapped my body with a towel and went into the bathroom. Brushed my teeth,took a cool shower,covered my body and got out.

The minute i got out of the bathroom,i saw my phone light up. Message. I walked to it and sat on the bed running my fingers on the screen. The message read thus:

Come earlier than usual.

Just like that. I groan,i hope its not just me though because i won't be able to handle it. I dropped my phone and dried my body and rubbed cream on it,wore my underwear garments and looked for a clothe to put on. I checked the closet and settled with a top and blue jeans. Another one though.lol. I put it on and went to the mirror to check it out. Cool!  Tied my hair in a nice ponytail and feeling satisfied. I put on small lipstick.

I took my sling bag and put my phone in it with some money. "Bye Carmen." I whispered to her. I got downstairs and went to the kitchen grabbing two apples. I love apples so much. Took my car keys from the table beside the door,i headed down to the mall.

At the Kimlan Mall.

I parked the car at the usual spot and walked into the mall. It was opened but not officially opened. I checked the time. 8:14am. I'm extra early. I put on the tag with my first name written boldly on it. FABIOLA.

As soon as i got in,i saw the manager waiting for me i guess. His name was carlos kirtsch,blonde,tall and really slim. He should be around 28. I looked around and saw nobody else. "Goodmorning Sir."
"Morning niss Alvarez,glad you could maje it. "
"It's no problem."
"Good to hear that." He folded his hands in front of his chest. "I texted to tell you that the owner would be coming here today and he'll like to meet everyone,just thought to give you a heads up since you've been good."

"Oh,thank you so much. That's very thoughtful of you to remember me. I'm really grateful." I shined my white teeth. He nodded and left. The place was already clean as always.

So i walked to the back of the counter amd dropped my purse after taking out my phone. Feeling hungry even after the apples,i went to the staff room and opened the fridge. Hmm nice in here. Took whatever i wanted and ate there satisfying myself before walking out.

Immediately i came out,i saw two other staffs and they greeted me which i returned back. Walked back to the counter to receive the first customer.
"Thanks for shopping at Kimlan's. Do come again."
"I will,surely." The lady smiled while leaving.
I sat down back and read my feeds.

Hours Later

Carlos walked up to me in a haste. "Psst..he's here.". I got up as soon as i heard and the other staffs lined up at the door. I didn't know who he was but i composed myself and so did the others. Everyone dressed so nicely. Curse me for wearing jeans.

He walked in and carlos greeted him. He moved further in and i noticed him. Oh Shit,not again!
When did he start opening malls? Whennnn?

Yeah you guessed right,it was no one else but Mr Jose Antonio Sandoval aka The jerk. I smiled in my head.

Carlos began to introduce every single one of us by name. Jose just nodded and shook everyone's hand including mine. He looked at me from head to toe and scoffed. The other ladies were so flattered as he looked at them. "Are you well? "I asked the one beside me. She leaned closer to my ear and whispered,"you must be crazy to wash that hand he just shook." I arched an eyebrow and gave her a huhn look.

I whispered back "you're the one who is crazy." I laughed softly.
"Yeah baby,i'm crazy. Crazy just for him!" She chuckled. I shook my head and laughed.

After all the introductions,we were told to get back to our wok and we did just that.

"The boss wants to see you fabi." Caroline said and left without a reply.

"Ohhhhh" i groaned aloud and stood up making my way to his office. Real slow.
