Fabiola quickly parked the car in front of the house after which the gate closed by itself.

She came down from the car. Walking to the front door, she knocked on it,twice.

As no reply came, she repeated the same thing and leaned her head on the door. "Isco?" She waited for a reply but heard none and she definitely heard no noise coming from inside of the house.

Fabi looked around the house and checked for a spare key. She was getting impatient and did not want to attract neighbors by banging on the door.

Standing still, wandering what to do,she looked down at the set of keys in her hand. Car key, the house key, another car key, Carmen's house key, Marco's car key....

Wait a minute...she had the keys to the house. She squealed as she remembered the time carmen gave her the keys so she could be able to come in anytime.

Fabiola wasted no time in opening the door. As soon as it got opened, she slowly walked in saying, "Isco?! Where are you?"

Immediately, she heard, "Get out!" That was Isco's voice. A slow cry began to fill the living room that fabiola was walking into.

"Isco!!"

Fabiola rushed as fast as she could to where isco lay on the floor. He was dead drunk, not even the slightest sober.

His hair was in a terrible, horrible state. It was so obvious he had been drinking for more than 3 days straight. He lay on the floor, his upper body slightly above the ground with a bottle in his hand filled half way.

The living room reeked of alcohol.

She got to him and moved him. "Isco what the hell are you doing to yourself?" Fabiola helped him up but he pushed her away.

"Leave me alone. Let me die." he said to her and she felt sorry for him.

"No!" she yelled and tried to help him up again, and him repeating the same action.

"Get out i say! You are disturbing me!!"

Fabiola was loosing her patience with him. She gave him a dirty slap and he came to his senses straight up.

"You better get up this instant you moron or-" Before she could complete her sentence, she heard crying.

Something filled up her mind. She was confused. Sure, Isco was crying but his wasn't as loud as that. She took the bottle away before he could put it in his mouth.

He whined and started to drift off to sleep. Then the cry came again. This time it was louder than ever, echoing through the big house. "What the hell am i hearing?" She stood up from where she bent down and then it dawned on her.

"No way! Camila is crying!"

"Huh?" isco woke up.

"You idiot! You left her all by herself!" She bolted upstairs to where the deafening sound was coming from.

As she got there, panting heavily after climbing the flight of stairs, she bust open the door and found the child crying endlessly.  She jogged over to the crib and picked up the baby.

Fabiola rested the baby's  head on her chest and started to stroke her back while cradling her and at the same time, singing a small song.

"It's alright. You'll be fine. Shhh. I'm here." she whispered softly to Camila.

Instantly she stopped crying as if she knew she was with her mother. Camila was shaking from probably a lot of crying. She was just a few months old and Isco had left her alone.

He still hadn't gotten over the death of his wife.

Camila calmed down a whole lot and yawned. Fabiola sat down on the chair beside the cot and laid her on her arm.

She was beautiful.

"I bet you are hungry little kid." fabiola smiled. She stood up and was about dropping her back in the crib so she could make her milk when camila began to cry.

"Oh no. Shhh." she started cradling her again. "I'm sorry. I won't leave you." Fabiola muttered and carried her downstairs into the kitchen.

She passed by isco who was probably still a little bit sober from the slap he had received. A few metres away,he had thrown up on the tiled floor.

Fabiola walked into the kitchen and dropped the baby in her pram. Making the baby milk, she felt happy.

Soon after, she fed little Camila and the child fell asleep after being cradled. Fabi took her up to her room, gave her a quick shower. Before now, she had never given a bath to a baby. She was being careful in every sense.

Dressing her in a onesie, the baby looked absolutely cute. She gently laid her in the crib and she slept soundly.
