Chapter 21

3 years Later.

Everything has changed.

Fabiola Alvarez was now a changed woman in every way. She was a 24 year old lady who was working in a prestigious organisation known as F.I.L.A in Milan,Italy.

Had her own house,2 cars and was living quite a comfortable life on her own. Fabi knew she couldn't lie to herself,constantly thinking about Marco as she loved him more day by day.

There's a saying that goes,' absence makes the heart grow fonder'. Self-explanatory.

She also thought about carmen and how she was faring. Deciding to go back to Madrid was a thought that came to mind. Seeing her beautiful friend would be delightful.

The 24 year old had made some friends in Milan. Being loved in FILA was everything to her. The organisation gave her a chance and she committed herself to her job. Speaking differemt languages was a crucial and fundamental part of the job in which she performed well. Going back to Madrid made her heart warm. She wanted to see Marco,to touch him,feel him and give him a lasting hug but she was refusing it. She thought he would have given up on her as he made no endeavour to look for her.

Fabiola got some special items from FILA for Carmen and happily booked her first-class flight to Madrid,saying goodbye to her colleagues.

For the past years,carmen has also grown into a fine young lady. She was apparently now dating Isco Alarcon,a very fine,classy footballer. As they both shared common interests and when Isco asked,she willingly accepted. She had gotten another house but occasionally stayed over at Isco's place.

Now a top doctor/ physiotherapist in Madrid as the promotions kept flowing in. She and Marco had tried several ways to locate Fabiola but nothing came of it.

Carmen felt sorry for Marco as he decided to remain unfazed. Something in her heart told her that,fabi was going to come back and she always told him that.

'Miss Isco' as she was fondly called at the Bernabéu was now a private staff of the Real Madrid Squad and there was going to be a dinner party for everyone  on the team for a beautiful season well played.

Marco Asensio was a world-class professional football player who had won many awards. Making many achievements,he dedicated it all to his family,his mother up there and obviously to his love,Fabiola.

He dreamt that one day,she would return back to spain and back into his arms. He had not relented in his efdorts to search for her and sometimes he broke down.

Carmen always reassured him that all would be alright and he really truly believed so.

Marco knew she was the only one for him. No, he was sure. 100% sure.

To him,they didn't break up. To him,they are still together in one piece.

To him,they've been in love forever.
