Chapter 35

The Wedding

"I feel so excited!" Marco said while buttoning his suit and looking in the mirror.

"Dude help me with this!" Isco,his groomsman was struggling with his own button.

Marco turned and sighed,venturing towards him. "And since when did you have a big belly? Huh,Isco?"

ISCO gave him a playful slap on the head. "I don't have such you stupid. You just got me a small size."

"Yeah,right. Blame it on me." He helped and they managed to get the button done. "There,now go put on those shoes or the bride will have to be the one to wait for us." They both laughed.

Today was the wedding day.

Read the invitation card sent to their loved ones.

The door of the hotel room burst open. "Boys,let's get going! We don't have all day!" Cristiano ended the sentence with a chuckle and they all left the hotel room.

Fabiola's Pov

"Your dress is just....adorable,lovely,cute,beautiful,amazing and all the other words i don't know how to pronounce." carmen commented.

"Thank you Carmen."

"You feeling nervous?"

"Not one bit on the contrary, I'm super delighted about this. I'm getting married to the man of my dreams. My Marco."
I smiled when my soon-to-be husband's face came into my head.

Carmen smiled like a little girl that just saw her crush. "Alright that's great then."

"And how did you feel when you got married?" I asked her.

"Warm palms,sweaty forehead,flushed cheeks,beautiful thoughts in my head,whatever,you name it."

"You must love Isco so much?"

"I don't talk about it so much. But yes i love him alot. He's so goofy." she grinned wide and patted my dress. "There. I think its all good. You makeup's done. Shall we?"

"Yeah."

"Good,the car's outside waiting for us."

Carmen and Isco got married two months ago. Carmen's belly was now growing and the dress she wore gave it all the curves it needed. Isco was sure gonna love this.

Reina was supposed to be there with them but she said she wanted to be surprised when she will see the wedding dress.

[Time skip to Church.]

Marco was inside the church with Isco behind him and they were having small talks.

The church was filled up with most of Marco's friends and the Real Madrid Players. Marcelo,lucas,Toni,Cristiano, sergio and the rest of the boys were there to support Marco on his big day.

Fabiola had just arrived the church and Marco's father was waiting for her.They got to the entrance and linked their arms together,smiling. The piano started  play.

This was her dress with a veil :

She walked graciously into the church, down the aisle while everyone stood up as they passed by.

Fabiola could see Marco at the front waiting for her to get closer to him. Everyone loved her dress.

She finally got to the front alongside marco and he took her hand from his father's grip.

"You look beautiful." he muttered to her as they both smiled. Marco and Fabiola faced the priest and he started the service.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please i would like to present to you,Mr and Mrs Marco Asensio!"

The church erupted with cheers and claps.

"You may kiss the bride!." the priest told them.

Everyone looked on with keen interest.

"Come here!" he beckoned with a wide grin as he held her waist,pulled her closer to him and gave her a butterflies- in-the-stomach kiss. It lasted for some minutes and they pulled away.

The players were really making loud noises,jeering them up.

They started to walk out of the church with linked arms. Confetti pouring on them.

"The most beautiful day in my life." Fabiola said when they were at the reception.

"You're the most beautiful person in my life and i love you wholeheartedly. " Marco whined and they  kissed again.

They are finally married as one! Yippee! Thank you loves!
