Natsu POV

Shit I was running late for school and Lucy's waiting for me by the gates . My stupid alarm clock didn't go off like it was suppose too . I ran with all my might and I finally got there .

"I'm really sorry Lucy I promise it won't happen again" I said panting

"It's ok , come on before were late for gym with Mr.Laxus " she said smiling . So we walked to gym we found Mr .Laxus looking irritated and pissed off as always .

"Lucy and Natsu your late" he said trying to hold his anger .

"Sorry it won't happen again I promise " me and Lucy say in union

"Run 8 laps around the gym now" he yelled . Me and Lucy started running at the same pace so we can talk .

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed" I said

"At least he woke up and didn't sleep in" she said speeding up

"I said I was sorry" I said while running

"Well how was your date with Sting " I asked . Lucy and sting have been dating over 2 months . I used to have a crush on Lucy last year but I gave up , she'd probably reject me .

"It was good , he took me to dinner,movies,arcade and a lot of stuff" she said

See I couldn't do any of that stuff with Lucy I have no money , she deserves better then me , I won't be able to get her anything .

"How's you and Lisanna " Lucy asked nudging my arm . I don't like Lisanna that way but Lucy thinks I do

"I don't like her that way " I said blushing

"Natsu , I know your scared but you have to ask her before you lose your chance , you'll never know unless you try " she said

"You can't lose someone special" Lucy said

"I already lost someone special " I said to myself .

I lost my chance with Lucy it took forever to move on , now I'm fallen again , I have to stop myself , I can't do this to her , I'll be pulling her down .

We ran the laps in silence , after gym we had lunch . I can't fall for her again.... But I can't help it

Lucy's POV

I know it's hard for Natsu to find love , but I'm determined to help him . I'm lucky I found love with Sting . He's sweet ,kind ,hot ,and lovable , I'm so lucky I found him . I know that Natsu will find someone special like Lisanna . He needs to experience love with someone ....hopefully I can pull him out of the dark , lonely corner
