Lucy POV

I can't believe Natsu beat up Loke . I thought about it the whole time while walking to Stings house . I finally arrived and knocked on the door Stings mom answers . She looked like she had been crying .

"Is Sting here" I questioned she just burst in tears . His dad came up behind with a disappointed look in his face .

"Come in we need to talk" Stings dad said . I nervously walked in and sat on the couch . The mother went running up stairs while the dad sat across from me .

"Yesterday Sting had a seizure , the doctors found out he has brain damage that's not cure able " Stings dad said trying to hold back his tears . I was speechless I then got up and started running as fast as I can towards the hospital . When I finally got there I went to the front office .

"What room is Sting Elifee in " I said anxiously

"Room 47" the nurse calmly explained . I started running down the hallways into his room . I opened the door to find Sting hooked up to machines . I ran up to him crying ,but he was smiling .

"It's ok" Sting said pulling me in a hug .

Once I calmed down he explained that the doctors are estimating 3-4 weeks until he's dead .

"W-why is god so cruel" I cried even more .

"He didn't do this to me" Sting said reassuring me but didn't work .

"Look Lucy I want you to say something at my funeral" Sting said

"Please don't talk like that your not dieing yet " Lucy cried

"I know but I might forget to tell you so I'm telling you now " Sting said

"So how was graduation" Sting said changing the topic

"Natsu got arrested for almost killing Loke" I mumbled in disappointment . Sting looked so shocked

"I know Natsu would never intentionally hurt him unless it was for a good reason ,look don't trust that Loke guy" Sting said

"How could you say that" I said in shock

"I was jus-" I cut Sting off

"Look you need to rest so I'm leaving I'll come back another time" I said turning away from him leaving him speechless .

I can't believe he was taking Natsu's side maybe rest will make him realize what Natsu did . I went home and straight to my room .

Juvias POV

I woke up on Natsu's couch . I slowly got up to find his cat named Happy laying on me .

"How'd you sleep " Natsu said scaring the crap out of me .

"Where's you come from" I said

"I was in the kitchen making us French toast sticks" he said handing me a plate

"Thanks " I smiled and happily ate them . Me and Natsu were talking when my phone rang to find Gray calling I don't feel like talking to him so I ignored him .

"Who called" Natsu questioned

"No one ,anyways have you heard from Lucy" I asked

"She's pissed at me ,Sting tried calling me but I didn't get the chance to call him back" Natsu said playing with his food .

"You should call him maybe something happened to Lucy" I said

He's shrugged and grabbed his phone dialing Stings number .

Natsu POV

the phone was ringing then I heard a weak hello

"Hello" Sting coughed

"Hey dude are you ok" I asked worried . There was a long pause .

"I'm not doing so good man , 2 days ago they found that I had brain damage and giving me a couple weeks before I go to heaven" Sting coughed

"I'm coming" I then hung up and grabbed Juvias hand running to my car

"What's wrong" Juvia said freaking out

"Stings in the hospital" I started driving . It was a silent car ride . We finally got there and walked in and asked were he was and started walking to room 47 . We entered and he looked horrible . He was really pale and dark circles was around his eyes .

"Hey Natsu" Sting groaned in pain

Me and Juvia sat in the chairs beside the bed side .

"Juvia can you get me water on the third floor" I asked she simply nodded and walked off

"Natsu I can't take it here anymore I feel like hell and it's so cold " Sting complained

Words won't come out of my mouth so he spoke for me .

"Natsu I know for a fact that I'm probably gonna die tomorrow or today ,so when I die I want you to watch over Lucy for me , protect her for me , comfort her for me , and love her for me" Sting repeatedly said .

"I promise" holding back tears

"Don't let Loke near her he's bad I can sense it" Sting said

"When I go to heaven ,I want you to date Lucy " Sting said having a coughing fit

"Sting I can't she hates my guts" I said

"Then fight not just for her but for my dieing wish" Sting said

"I promise" I let a tear slip .

"Then for my last final request , I want you and Juvia to leave the hospital so I can pull all the plugs and die happily " Sting smiled

"No I'm not letting you" I screamed

"Natsu I'm miserable in this hospital I cant die like this" Sting coughed . It took me time to think and I then got up and hugged him

"You know all these years I was jealous of you ,but now your like a brother to me " I then walked out of the room . Juvia was running down the hallway with water . I grabbed her arm without looking back and got out of the hospital .

The second we got in the car I knew Sting was dead .
