Jellal POV

I was walking in the halls and into my class , when I saw the most beautiful girl in the front row . She looked really tired and worn out then she saw me and smiled that could light up my whole day . I took the seat next to her .

"Are you ok , you look tired " I asked Erza

"I'm fine just family problems , it's nothing to worry about " Erza said threw yawns

Erza's family is always drunk and she as to defend for her self . I try to help her but she pushes me away when she needs me the most .

"Ok , well do you want to come over my house to study " I asked

"It doesn't matter , as long as I'm with you " she smiled until the teacher came in . A long 2 hours later the class was dismissed to lunch me and Erza sat in are usual spots .

"Hey guys , what's the two love birds doing " Lucy said in a obnoxious way

"We're gonna study later" Erza said

"Or are you guys just gonna make out with each other" gray said making kissing faces . Erza hit him in the back of the head which made him fall to the ground . Everyone was sharing how there day went lunch was over. Then after 6 classes me and Erza walked home together . It looked like it was going to storm .

"Maybe we can study tomorrow " Erza said

"Ya I don't want you to be wet " I told her . I gave her a kiss goodbye and we therwent are separate ways .

Erza POV

I went home to find my father drunk like a pig he is .

"Where were you " he growled at me

"At school like normal people go " I snaped at him

"Don't talk to me that way young lady" he sneered and came closer to me and grabbed my hair and threw me against the wall

"Go up stairs so you can learn your lesson" he demanded

"I'm not going , I'm tired of being afraid of you I had enough " I said holding my breath . I felt a hard hit across my face , but I'm not ready to give up

"Are you board is that why you punch me , like you did with mom "

"How dare you " he angrily said and grabbed my hair and threw me in my room

"I'll let you out when I'm board" he locked the do and went back drinking

At this point I was crying hoping that Jellal would come .

Jellal POV

I hope Erza's ok , I'll give her a call . I dialed her number and waited for an answer

"H-hello " Erza said crying

"Erza , what's happening , are you ok"

"N-no I need you " she started crying hysterically

"I'll be right over" I Hung up and got the keys to my motorcycle . I drove so fast every time I hit the brakes it'll leave a mark . I finally got to her house and rushed in knocking down the door . I heard screaming and yelling upstairs . I rushed up there and I went in the room to find Erza's dad cornering her to a corner and punching her .

I got on top of him and slammed my fist into his face . He turned around to find me about to punch him again until he grabbed my fist . Erza fell on the floor blood coming out other . I started kicking and punching him he did the same to me until I pushed him into the wall which knocked him out cold .

I rushed towards Erza and wrapped her in my arms she put her arms around me and I picked her up and cleaned off the blood on her face . You can tell she was tired behind her crying eyes .

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry " whispering to me while crying harder

"It's ok " I picked her up and carried her to my motor cycle .

"Hold on tight your sleeping at my house" and with that we drove away .

This is all my fault I should've been sooner .....
