My moms voice woke me up. She was screaming at Nicole to do her homework or something.

When my mom came upstairs. I got nervous because I thought I was going to get in trouble for some reason.

"Scarlett, school is in 20 mins. Do you need me to drive you?" 

I live like 14 blocks away from the school. I can walk

"No I'm good. Thanks."

"Okay."

When I was choosing my I got a text on my phone:

I was a little freaked out. So like an idiot I text back

Hey. Who is this?

I'm so stupid

Okay anyway. I chose I really cute outfit

I had on a Rolling Stones shirt and shorts.

Thankfully this person didn't text me back.

**** 20 mins later ****

I started walking out of the house. Then I was stopped, when someone grabbed my shoulder

I turned around surprised.

It was Phoenix

"Thank you for calling the ambulance last night. I was really drunk."

Why the heck is he talking to me. Sophia said he hates me.

"Anytime." I tried to say it with a smile on my face.

I started to walk away (again) until Phoenix asked me "What are you doing later?"

What? Is he talking to me right now?

"Are you talking to me."

He looked at me surprised "I'm talking to you. Who do you think I'm talking to?

"Umm Phoenix I have to go."

"Please wait, lets walk together."

What should I do. Say no or yes.

"Sure"

It was really weird walking with Phoenix

"So..... can I ask you a question?"

He didn't even look at me. He just kept walking and looking ahead.

"Ya?"

I just looked away

"Come on Scarlett, you can ask me anything, we've been friends forever."

Now we are friends

"Do you hate me?"

He looked at me. I felt like he was looking into my soul.

"Why would I hate you? Who told you that?"

"Sophia said that. She doesn't like me...."

"I can't believe she said that."

Great we haven't talked in 4 years and now he's mad at me (or I think)

Phoenix yelled "Sophia come here, we need to talk."

He looked at me. Angry.

I tried to look at her like I didn't do anything, but she didn't get it. She just looked angry.

Phoenix pulled her to the side and they started talking, then..... kissing. What the heck?!

I am so pissed. I thought he was going to make things better but NO!
