Scarlett's POV:

The next morning when we were walking Phoenix asked me "Do you want to go to a movie with me?"

"Yes!"

He smiled and said "Great but here's the thing, my mom wants to come too. But she wants your mom to come as well." "Oh my gosh that's great! Let me just text my mom-"

"No you dont have too. My mom already talked to your mom, and we are going to go tonight."

I think its good that Phoenix and I are better

When we got to the school everyone was looking at us. It was weird. I reall dont like it when all eyes are on me.

So Phoenix said to me "Lets give them something to watch." He grabbed me a kissed me.

I felt everyones eyes burning into my skin.

When we pulled apart, everyone was still looking at us. Then we walked into school

I just can't wait to go to the movies tonight.

Phoenix's POV:

I really need to smoke! It's driving me crazy! I stopped for like 3 months. But its the cool thing to do right now. You know what, I'm going to do it again. But I will only have one.

I hope Scarlett doesnt find out.

I will tell my friends to meet me at the movies and hand me one, and I can say "I'm going to the bathroom."

I told my friend Jace about the whole plan and he said "I'm in. What time?" I had to think for a minute. "Umm come around 7."

When we got to the movie theater Scarlett and I sat all the way in the back, while my mom and her mom sat a couple of rows ahead of us.

Great, now I feel bad about the whole smoke thing. I'm only going to do it one time! But what happens if Scarlett follows me?

I honeslty don't even know what movie we are seeing. Its something that my mom wanted to see. And Scarlett's mom wanted to see it too. So..... yup, thats it.

It was like the middle of the movie when I got a text. I had to let go of Scarlett's hand.

Jace: So? Where are you? I'm waiting for you! Its freaking cold outside!

Phoenix: I'm coming!

I told Scarlett that I have to go to the bathroom, and I will be right back. She said "Okay."

I walked outside and when I opened the doors it was instinally cold. Jace had a cigarettehanging out of his mouth.

All these thoughts ran through my head.

What happenes if Scarlett finds out? And what happens if she tells my mom? I dont know if I should do it. So I dont.

"Jace?" I said. 

He said "What? Are you going to do it or not?"

I smiled and said " You know what? Im not going to do it!"

I walked back into the movies and I was really pround of myself.

I sat down next to Scarlett, held her hand a made a promise to myself. I promised myself that I would never smoke again. I feel so good about myself.

But the thing that sucks now is that I have to really go to the bathroom now.
