Chapter 11: Know Your Angel 101

We order our food and had a nice conversation at the table. It felt like I was at home...I haven't seen my family since I came to Korea....

I was looking down when Namjoon's mom spoke to me

Mom: "Angela what's wrong?"

Me: "Oh I'm fine!" I gave her a smile

Mom: "Don't lie to me child! I know something is bothering you right now!"

My eyes went wide and then I looked at Namjoon like 'what the hell!'

Namjoon: "She knows when someone is feeling a bit iffy! She caught me many times.."

He said with a small chuckle

Me: "Must I say it??"

Mom: "Yes! Now tell me what's bothering you??"

Me: "The thing is...I haven't seen my family since debut..."

Mom: "Oh my..."

Namjoon: "Wait! I thought you went to see them last year?!"

Me: "No there was a change of plans that led me not to go."

Mom: "Oh Angela...you poor thing!"

She got up from her seat and came to give me a hug...it felt nice

Namjoon: "Why didn't you say anything before Angela?!"

Me: "We have tight schedules Namjoon..."

Mom: "Yes but look at Namjoon coming to see me even though he is busy as ever!"

Me: "My family lives in New York, you live close by..."

She squeezed me harder feeling sorry for me

Mom: "It will be alright dear! You will see them soon! Do you still contact them at least?!"

Me: "Of course! My mom would never forgive me if I don't stay in touch with her all these years!"

Mom: "I would do the same!" She gave Namjoon a glare

I laughed and said, "Namjoon did you do something like that??"

Namjoon: "No! I swear!"

We all laughed and continue eating! I'm just happy I have a second family here to keep me company!

After our meal we went out to walk around and enjoy the place. I noticed a sudden flash coming somewhere...

Me: "Oh.."

Namjoon: "What's wrong!"

Me: "Paparazzi are here"

Namjoon: "It's alright the company will clear it up!"

Mom: "You are my daughter anyways!"

Namjoon: "HEY!"

I laughed while we continue our day together!

Time sure goes fast when your having fun! It was the end of the day and we were all tired out! Namjoon and I said goodbye to our mother and went walking to the dorms.

We arrived home to a bunch of guys eyeing the TV!

Me: "What's going on in here?"

V: "SHHHH! We are watching a movie!"

Namjoon and I were just standing there all confused....

Namjoon turned off the TV which made the guys groan in frustration

Namjoon: "Time for bed!"

Suga: "UGHHHH!"

Jimin: "YOU RUINED IT!"
