Chapter 20: Everyday I'm Shuffling

Namjoon's P.O.V~

Training yesterday was tough on all of us. We tried our best to improve our fighting skills, but was this all really worth it?

I somehow manage to get out of bed and shuffle my way to the kitchen to find the rest of the members groaning in pain. 

Me: "hey- ah!"

I was trying to lift my arm when the pain came rushing in!

Yoongi: "It's best not to lift anything, I learned that the hard way today."

I chuckled, "so no one made breakfast today?"

Taehyung: "Jin managed to make breakfast but right now he is in the bathroom crying in pain"

I laughed and then cried out in pain!

Jimin: "I can't even lift up my fork to eat my food!"

I noticed that J-hope didn't have food in front of him, "J-hope where's your food?"

J-hope: "I ate it all..."

Me: "Really?!"

Yoongi: "He was crying every time he lifted his fork to eat!"

J-hope: "I was not!"

Taehyung: "Explain your puffy eyes!"

J-hope: "At least I ate unlike you guys!"

Right after I saw Jungkook helping Jin walk towards the kitchen

Jungkook: "I found him crying for help in the bathroom!"

We all laughed, "Poor Jin!"

Jin: "I took one for the team today and none of y'all said THANK YOU HYUNG!"

Me: "Thank you Jin, even though I wasn't here to witness it!"

Jin: "Ungrateful children!" He said as Jungkook helped him to sit down

Now that I noticed Jungkook looked fine, he wasn't screaming in pain like the rest of us!

Me: "How are you feeling Jungkook?"

Jungkook: "Oh I feel fine thanks for asking hyung!"

We all looked at Jungkook in shocked, like how was he alright?!

Jungkook: "I'm used to this kind of pain since I work out most of the time!"

Ooh he does have a point there and it looked like the other guys had the same reaction as me

Jin: "Did someone drop there water bottle over here because there's a puddle.."

I saw Jungkook's expression changing fast

Jungkook: "Did Angela come out today?"

Come to think of it I haven't seen her since yesterday...

Jin: "No, I even knocked on her door to tell her that breakfast was ready...she said she wasn't hungry..."

Jungkook: "You guys should've seen her yesterday, she was in complete rage! She threw that water bottle out of nowhere...sorry for the puddle hyung!"

Jin: "It's fine, I'll allow it since Angela has her reasons right now..."

The atmosphere was getting thick and awkward...

Me: "What should we do..." Is all I can say right now

Jungkook: "You should take her out hyung!"

"ME?!" I looked around and I saw everyone nodding their heads in agreement

Taehyung: "Who else would it be!"

Me: "Why not Jungkook??"

Jungkook: "Hey! I can't be the only one helping her right now! You should do it too since you love her!"

I blushed at his comment, "I-I d-do n-not!"

Yoongi: "You can't fool us you know!"

Jimin: "Besides it'll give us time to set something nice for her when you guys come back!"

Me: "I-I'm not too sure guys..."

Jin: "Trust us, she'll go with you!"

I looked at everyone's faces and saw that they were serious about this...

I realize that us practicing and getting sore the next day is worth it...just to see Angela safe and even...

Me: "happy..."

Jungkook: "What?"

I shook my head and said, "I'll do it!"

Everyone cheered and came up with a plan to make Angela happy! We decided that once Angela and I come back home, I'll take her to the rooftop where all the guys will be with decoration and food for her!

I shuffled my way to her door and took a deep breath...

KNOCK KNOCK

Angela: "Who is it??"

Me: "It's Namjoon..."

Angela: "okay..."

Me: "Listen Angela, I know this isn't the best time to ask but with the pain and bruises on my body...would you like to go out today with me?"

No respond... was it too cheesy for her?? I decided to knock again but before I could the door sightly opened and I saw Angela...

Angela: "How much pain are you in?"

Me: "I have to shuffle instead of walking and I can't eat because lifting the fork is too much!"

She laughed which brought comfort to this situation 

Angela: "Since we both are in pain...I'll gladly go out with you today!"

Me: "Awesome! I'll get ready right now but it might take awhile..."

Angela: "Don't worry! I'm sore as well!"

She opened the door and showed me a bruise she got on her back

Angela: "Thanks to that stupid hologram with the bat, I couldn't sleep at all!"

I poked it which made her wince in pain

Angela: "WHAT THE HELL NAMJOON!"

I laughed and shuffled away!

I heard her laugh and said, "I'll let it slide since you have to shuffle your way out!"

Me: "Thank you! Be ready in 45 minutes!" As I shuffle my way to the bathroom

Angela: "Alright!"

I saw the guys waiting for me by the bathroom with hope in their faces

Me: "The plan is a go!"

We all started to jump up and down in joy until the pain struck all of us!
