"You don't have to tell me twice." I say as I run off. I soon found Lane walking through. I ran up too him, and grabbed his hand. I started to pull him. He soon was running now.

"Shay why are we running?" He asked running next to me.

"Um I just couldn't want to get there so I decided to run." I say smiling. He nodded and laughed.

"Okay." He said. Soon we were back at school. I stopped running and so did Lane. He smiled as he walked over to his car. He opened the door for me. I smiled and thanked him. I got in and he closed the door. He walked around the car, and Opened the door to the drivers side. He got in and smiled. He turned the radio on. We drove in silence. But a good silence not a weird one. I sighed, and tried to think about theses figures. Why did they want Lane? Better yet why did they want this necklace! I was so confused.

"Do you mind if Kaden, and Liam come?" Lane asked as he looked at his phone.

I shook my head no, and he nodded. He pulled up to the school, and soon Kaden and Liam were in the car. I smiled and once I realized I was going to pretend to be mad at them for making the bet with Lane.

"Hi Shay." Kaden said. I rolled my eyes and looked out the window. Lane chuckled. I'm guessing he caught on to what I was doing.

"Look Shay were sorry!" Liam said tapping me on the shoulder. I didn't look back, and kept my eyes outside the window.

"We'll buy you ice cream for the rest of school, and summer." They said.

I looked back. "Sounds good." I said laughing a bit.

They didn't say nothing. "You weren't mad were you?" Kaden says.

"Nope, but a deals a deal. You guys have to but me ice cream." I say smirking a bit. Kaden groans as does Liam.

We chatted all the way to the ice cream place and to be honest...They are really funny. I almost died laughing the whole way here. Lane parked the car, and I got out. I was the first one in the ice cream shop, and probably won't be the first one out. I ordered a cookie dough ice cream, and the boys payed for it. They mutter unkind words under there breath. I just laughed, and took my ice cream. They all ordered theirs and we got into a booth. We started talking, but I felt like someone or something was watching. I looked outside, and saw a crow right there watching us with its beady little eyes. It stared straight at my necklace, and then flew away.

"I'll be right back." I say heading towards the bathroom. They give me weird looks, but just shrugged it off.

Lanes P.O.V

"So Lane when are you going to ask her?" Kaden says randomly.

"Ask her what?" I say dumbfounded.

"To prom." Liam said. "I mean it's totally obvious you like her." At our school we always had prom earlier than it should be. Why? Well proms supposed to be at the end of there year, but that's when all the schools testing is. And our principle wants students to be focusing on their test, not what color there dress can be. That and I honestly think he's just weird.

"I don't like her." I said rolling my eyes.

"Yeah that's why you gave her your sisters necklace." Kaden said rolling his eyes. Okay maybe I like her a little bit.

"Better yet when are you going to tell her about what you've been seeing?" Liam said. I sighed. I've been seeing things that aren't really there, and every time there close Shays there. I've also been having nightmares, and they won't stop. I thought maybe Shays went through the same thing, but I didn't know how to ask her. I honestly didn't think she was crazy. I really didn't. I was about to respond, but Shay came back out. So I decided to zip my lips.

"Whatcha guys talking about?" She said ever so sweetly.

"Nothing." We said at the same freaking time.

"Right." She says looking at us weirdly.

Shays P.O.V

They were obviously lying to me. Whatever they were talking about they didn't want me to know. Well I didn't really care. Actually I didn't want to know. If they were keeping it from me there was a reason. "You guys ready?" Lane asked.

"Yeah." We said.

Lane dropped of the guys, and now it was just me and him. "Shay?" He asked. "Can I asked you something?"

"Yes?" I say glancing over at him.

"D-do y-you ever see something that's not really there?" He asked stuttering. My heart clenched. Maybe Lane knew he was in trouble. He was seeing things that weren't really there. What if he was seeing what I saw? The black smoke figure...What if he saw that?

I sighed. "I do..Sometimes." I said. "Why?"

"I've seeing things that aren't really there too..." He mumbled out.

"What do you see?" I asked him.

"Mostly dark figures. But there's this one figure. She's around me everywhere. She looks mad, or something. She's especially around when you are." He said.

"Do you hear voices?" I said.

He nodded. "Only when she's around." He said.

"What does she say?" I asked.

"Not really voices, but screams. She tells me to be aware, or to stay away from her." He said.

Stay away from her? I knew it had to be me. The figure knew I could see it along with Lane, and she knew other spirits were helping with Lane! "She wants you to stay away from me." I muttered.

"I'm not going to listen to it." He said he glanced over at me. "Do you ever hear voices?"

"Yes." I said sighing.

"What do they say?" He asked.

I didn't know if I should tell him, but he did have a right to know. "They tell me when your around, when your in danger." I said.

"When I'm in danger?" He said.

"I can see the figure too." I said. "And every time it's around something tells me to find you."

He nodded. "How do I get the voices to stop?" He asked.

"Y-you can't." I muttered out.
