Hanna stood on the curb as Eliza looked up at her from the driver's side window.
"Okay so say hi to your parents from me," Hanna said taking her hand off the window, "let them know that I do want to come see them I'm just really busy so Thanksgiving hopefully."
"Okay, I gotta go if I'm gonna beat the traffic though," Eliza told her putting her hands properly on the wheel.
"Okay, drive safe," Hanna smiled stepping back from the car, "I don't wanna see you again today."
Eliza rolled up the window and drove off down the road. As Hanna stood there Jackson came jogging out of the building.
"You ready to go?" He asked handing her her bag.
"Yeah," Hanna smiled taking the bag and following him to the car.

The day had gone quite slowly and Hanna was sitting on a spare bed in the ER when her pager suddenly went nuts. She looked down to see that it was a multi-car pile up. Quickly, she jumped up, grabbed a jacket and ran.

The team of surgeons jumped out the ambulance and scanned the scene.
"Spread out, stabilize and get to the hospital," Owen ordered pointing in different directions.
They all nodded and started pulling people out of cars and stabilizing wounds. After about the third patient Hanna came round the end of a car and felt her heart fall out of her chest. Eliza Minnick lay underneath a car only her top half showing. Blood was pooled at the edge of her mouth as she lay staring up at her friend with hopeful eyes.
