"Hey you!" Teddy Altman called from across the hall as she sped up her pace to catch up with Hanna.

"Hey," Hanna smiled looking up from her charts.

"I heard about you and Jackson," Teddy said as she followed Hanna into radiology, "you know I wasn't sure if you and him were gonna make it as a couple. You always just seemed like friends."

"Well I guess you were right," Hanna smiled as she stuck her scans into the light box, "and I hope we can be friends again, I didn't handle the whole break up bit very well."

"I'm sure he'll get over it," Teddy reassured her as she looked at the scans as well, "you've been friends since you were like born. But anyway, what I really wanted to ask you was if you were going to memorial day this year."

"I don't know," Hanna said suddenly getting very quiet, "I need to page Meredith."

"It's ten years this year," Teddy said grabbing a hold of Hanna's arm to stop her leaving, "say good bye. Go this year, give the speech you were asked to do, shake his dad's hand. Move on properly."

"I'm fine," Hana told her defensively, "now if you'd excuse me, I need to go."

"If not for you do it for his family," she called out to her, "the way the guys talked about you and him, the way you won't. I will be shocked if they don't know who you are."

Dr. O'Reilly just kept on walking away until she was far enough away from Teddy to stop and breathe without her seeing.

Hanna was sat at home reading the email on her computer over and over again.

Dear Major O'Reily,
You have been invited to speak at the Memorial Day service. As a we'll know figure of the armed forces it would mean a lot to your fellow soldiers and to the families of the fallen of you could speak.

She sighed deeply and sat back in her chair. She read the words over a few times before the importance really sunk in.

'Fine,' she thought, 'I'll do it.'
