Hanna's head was still all over the place. The attendings lounge was the only place she could hide from her residents and interns. She loved to yeah them and watch their eyes light up as they finally got something but right now their questions would have given her a head ache.
She trusted in Arizona's judgement and in her advice, she was stuck between a rock and a hard place. It was still difficult and she didn't have the option to just run away. She had to face it.
For the second time that afternoon, someone came into the attendings lounge. Teddy notices her sitting on the couch and went over to see her.
"What you up to?" She asked sitting down next to her, "is there something really interesting on the ceiling that I'm not seeing?"
"No," Hanna told her, "I have a problem."
"Tell me all about it," she sighed, looping her arm around Hanna's.
"I have this guy friend," Hanna said.
"Jackson Avery."
"And I have this girl friend," Hanna laughed slightly.
"Ooh that could be a number," Teddy said guessing at who it was again, "but for now, I'm gonna go with Amelia Shepherd."
Hanna turned her head to look over at Teddy with a confused expression, "that obvious? Have I done anything?"
"Oh two points for Teddy," she smiled, "and you're longing glances are hard to miss."
"Great, so that's my problem," Hanna huffed, turning back to the ceiling, "either or. But if I choose one, then the other is hurt. If I leave, they both get hurt and I can't choose both because it doesn't work with us. Not properly."
"Do even know if Amelia likes you?" Teddy asked.
"Well she's slept with me before."
"But that doesn't mean she likes you now," Teddy told her, "don't let your ego get in the way of other people's feelings. Jackson loves you. You already know that. So if you love him or not. Fix whatever is broken between you cause you don't wanna lose your friend."
Hanna went to speak again but her pager went off.
"I'll try but that'll have to be later," she said pushing herself off of the couch.
"Go save lives," Teddy called after her, "and then sort out your own!"
"It'll be a big day!" She called back as she left the room.
