Chapter 75: Tense Breakfast

"Summer.. anak, andito uli si Storm.."

napa-angat naman ang ulo ko mula sa sinabi ni Manang Alma na nakangiti ngayon skain ng malambot ngunit may pagka-malisyosa, nagtinginan naman bigla sila Kuya Yelo tsaka si Top sabay tingin kay Kuya Rad na nagkibit-balikat lamang habang si Dad naman ay medyo napakunot ang noo. i sighed deeply before answering Manang Alma with my heating face

"ah-uhmm.. p-pasukin mo po. Nay.."i answered slightly skeptical weighing my current decision dahil nung lumabas si Manang Alma ay napaubo si Kuya Rad, nakangisi naman si Kuya Yelo habang nakatingin sakin, patagong ngumiti naman si Top at si Dad naman ay tinitignan ako ng maiigi. i faltered a little from their gaze slightly feeling concious

"what?"i ask them all in an innocent tone na ikinabalik naman nila sa pagkain well different goes for Dad dahil he brings out a newspaper from random air

"umm.. Good Morning Nanay Alma!"rinig kong masayang bati ni Storm kay Manang Alma mula sa sala narinig ko namang tumawa ng marahan si Manang Alma. ngapala kaya Nanay Alma ang tawag ni Impaks kay Manang Alma kasi nuon kapag andito nakatambay ang kambal na Del Valle lagi kaming naglalaro ng reyna-reynahan kung saan si Sofie ang reyna at nanay ko, (hate to declare this..) prinsesa ako, at si Storm naman ang prinsipe ko na nagmula sa malayong lugar at ang nanay niya ay si Manang Alma.. e lagi pa naman namin nilalaro yun kaya nakasanayan niya na siguro

"good morning din apo.. aba't para atang ang saya-saya naman ata ng prinsipe ko ha.. teka, andun na ang prinsesa mo naghihintay sayo.."rinig kong sagot ni Manang Alma kay Impaks na mas lalong ikinaiinit ng pisnge at hindi ko nalang pinansin ang mahinang chuckle ni Kuya Yelo

"uhmm.. Good Morning po.."Storm greets slightly wavering at the mid-sentence (which i first honestly thought na i was only imagining) maybe.. well, siguro dahil out of all the stares that the other four men with me in this room that is giving to him siguro ayun ang dahilan ng pagiging shaky niya

"good morning.."maikling tugon naman ni Dad without tearing his gaze away from the newspaper na ikinalunok ko at ni Storm because of the lack of enthusiasm and warmness on his voice that i used to hear whenever he's greeting and we all just stay still there for almost forever but honestly its just a mere minutes and few seconds just because out of all of this intense atmosphere

"have a seat.."sunod na sabi naman ni Dad but this time looking at Storm just by looking at him with just the eyes moving na ikina-jump ko dahil nagulat ako sa boses niya napalunok naman ako para kay Storm

"uh.. uhmm, w-wag na po.. hindi na-"sabi ni Storm ngunit pinutol ni Dad ang kanyang pagsasalita, okay. and this tense me up

"i refuse to.."sabi ni Dad at this time ibinaba niya mula sa kanyang mukha ang dyaryong binabasa niya na ikinatingin ni Top kay Storm mula sa kinakain niya habang si Kuya Yelo naman ay napahalukipkip at napangisi sa naging reaksyon ni Storm, dahil napalunok at mahahalata mo ang dahan-dahang pagtulo ng pawis nito mula sa kanyang ulo, at si Kuya Rad naman ay mukhang amused na amused sa pangyayari while continuing his eating like nothing tense is going on around him at nakita ko rin ang reaksyon ni Manang Alma na para bang uneasy siya sa current situation ni Storm

i can sense that he gives me a sneaky glance while biting his lower lips (reaction please!) before turning back again sneakily to face my father and brothers, Top nudged me lightly before gesturing to Storm by his pouted lips na hindi ko naman magets and so i mouthed a 'what!?' at him, he just rolled his eyes before moving near me

"help your boyfriend over there.."bulong ni Top sakin with serious tone but with a playful glint on his eyes, mye eyes turned wide as a saucer plate

"what!? he's not my-"i got cut off by Storm noise of doubt or maybe to catch my attention and help him, napasimangot naman sa kanya si Dad, si Kuya Yelo naman ay para bang tuwang tuwa sa nangyayari, si Top naman is watching closely and intently at the scen before him, si Manang Alma naman she looks like as if she wanted to help Storm out of the tense situation he is in while Kuya Rad he still looks unbothered

"uh-uhmm.."while Storm is saying that he keeps looking at me doubtfully as if he's asking me what should he do

"umm.. ah! Y-yat! ahh.. Storm! umm.. sige na upo ka na.. kain ka!"i offer that maybe is a little over-exaggeratedly na ikina-snicker ni Top, ikinatawa naman ng mahina ni Kuya Yelo at ikinailing naman ni Kuya Rad habang si Dad naman ay bumalik muli sa pagbabasa niya ng nailing-iling and Manang Alma just let out a giggle

nilingon muna ni Storm ang reaksyon naming lahat before dragging out a chair and he sat down slowly and hesitantly before gulping and finally sitting down, i turned at him giving him a small shy smile. napansin kong tinapik ni Kuya Rad si Kuya Yelo, na kanina pa nagtsa-chuckle while smirking maliciously at the both of us, na ikinatigil niya naman sa pangti-trip samin, Kuya Rad sat properly before crossing his arms in an authorative way before releasing a huff

"so.. help yourself."Kuya Rad says cooly, tumingin ako kay Kuya Rad with a 'wtf!?' look on my face na ikinakibit-balikat niya lang, i rolled my eyes before turning at Storm who is already fumbling with the dish and utensils to which one he should use

"a-ahhm.. Storm, Storm.. ako na, a-ako na..-"he somehow manage to cut me off by just staring at my eyes deeply that made me really comfortable but concious at myself at the same time and insisting that he should be the one to cater himself

"Summer. ako na.."he says seriously and commandingly but at the same time enchantingly that made me somehow fall for it and made me..

"-dyan.."i continued na para bang nagtunog na nagpapa-pantasya ako sa kanya, he looks at me funny but with a shining eyes that made me feel as if i'm a freak

"stop looking like that, you're so irresistable that i might do something stupid sa harap ng pamilya mo.."bulong niya sakin with a small smirk on his face with an expression that i don't actually get

"huh?"napatanong nalang ako with matching scrunch up eyebrows and blink pa sa sinasabi niya because talaga namang i'm confused..

"aish! you're so cute.. stop."he whispered with a weird smile on while sparing small unnoticable glance at my fam, my mouth formed an 'uwu' shape with my cheeks slowly heating up before retrieving my hands back and just putting it still at my lap and we, both just sat here in silence, tense and awkwardness hanggang sa gumawa ng ingay si Top (that's nice of you! Top!)

"umm.. ehem! ehem! this surely gonna be a long and tense breakfast.."
