Miss Me?

Chapter 10

"Of course I missed you! You were my best friend!" Todoroki growled.

"Oh? I thought I was your competition. Ya know, keep your friends close and your enemies closer?" Midoriya giggled. No matter how much he missed Todoroki, he was a villain. He had to put up a good show so he wouldn't disappoint the villains, especially Dabi.

"Just because you were my competition doesn't mean I didn't care about you! Look at Bakugo!" He pointed at Bakugo. "He wouldn't talk! He wouldn't explode anyone! He was dying until Kirishima helped him! Shinso," He pointed at Shinso. "He won't talk! He doesn't care about what others think, he never did! Until he met you and now you're gone! Uraraka lost her bright smile. Iida was being less demanding, less Class Rep-y. Everyone was effected because you left! Even me! You were breaking down my walls! I was being less of a cold hearted ass. But you left. My walls went back up again. Until Kitano showed up. He helped me like you helped me. He made me smile again, made me laugh. You leaving affected all of us. And all this because what? You ran off one day, met a villain then ran off with him!" Todoroki yelled. His voice was cracking in some parts but Kitano held his hand, telling him it was gonna be okay.

Midoriya frowned at all that. Before, when he was a student at UA, he would've cried his eyes out at that. But now, he just frowned.

"And you know why I ran off that one day? You saw me run off, you, Bakugo and Kirishima saw me. Bakugo called me Quirkless. You know how many times I've heard him call me that?! How many times I've actually wanted to take a swan dive off a building because of him?! He made my life miserable as a kid! I absolutely adored him but he ruined that when he got his Quirk and I didn't! He made me feel worthless. Do you know what that's like? Oh wait! Of course you don't! You've been handed everything to you. You got into UA because of recommendations, while others had to go through an entrance exam! Wanna know something, I didn't have a quirk until the sludge monster incident! Why do you think I broke my bones so many times? Why do you think I pushed you at the sports festival to use your full power?! Because some people can't use their power! If they do, they'll break their bones! But, luckily for me, I don't have to use only 5% of my power. You hear that All Might?! You didn't help me at all! They helped me! The villains helped me! And now I'm stronger than all of you! You think I was strong before I left? That was with 5% of my power. How strong do you think I am know that I'm using more? I give up on all you heroes. I'm proud to call myself a villain." He looked up at where the villains were. He had small tears forming in his eyes. He was about to jump up and let the rest do whatever they want to the students but he had other plans in mind. "One more thing," He powered up his quirk in his full body. He smashed his foot into the floor, causing it to rumble loudly. Then he smashed his hand as hard as he could into the floor. A large dent was made. It blew away all the students, Aizawa, and All Might, who could barely hold his hero version for an hour.

He jumped back up to the villains and hugged Dabi tightly. "Go out there and kick some hero ass.." He mumbled against his chest. Dabi smiled before he let go of Izuku and jumped down. He formed blue flames in his hands.

"Be careful. Wouldn't want to get caught between some fire now would you?" Dabi taunted.

He pressed his flames against a pole on the floor. It turned to ash slowly. He knew how to control his power correctly. If he used the smallest amount of fire, he could turn something to ash slowly. But if he used his full power, he could turn a whole field into ash in a matter of seconds.

Dabi charged up his flames. Every backed away except for Akeno.

"Akeno!" Todoroki yelled for him to run to safety.

Akeno stood in front of Dabi. Dabi got ready to shoot his flames at Kitano. "Time freeze."

Everything was frozen. Akeno walked around. He walked to Dabi and turned him around so his charged up flame was pointing towards Izuku. He rushed and shoved all the UA staff and students inside the building before his time ran out.

Something was wrong. He could sense it. He looked around and saw someone moving.

A certain green haired boy.

How the hell is he not frozen?! Akeno thought.

In a flash, his time ran out.

Everything was just as he left it before.

Dabi shot his flame at Izuku and not Akeno.

Izuku dodged it since he saw it coming thanks to One For All.

Shoto was shocked to see Dabi shoot Izuku.

Katsuki was just mad and sad.

Akeno... he was smiling proudly at what he did. At least he was smiling, until he fell unconscious on the floor.

Shoto quickly grabbed Akeno and pulled him back into the building.

Dabi's eyes widened. "IZUKU!" He yelled, not seeing that he had dodged the shot. Dabi ran up to the bleachers and and looked around. He didn't see Izuku. But then again, he didn't see Toga or Kurogiri or Shigaraki. He only saw black smoke, meaning they got away. Dabi ran into the wormhole and saw Izuku on the other side, also unconscious.

Shoto looked at the damage Izuku and Dabi had made. He was shocked at how such a small person could cause so many people's hearts to break and cause so much damage.

"We've officially lost him." Katsuki whispered, but since no one was talking, everyone heard him clearly.

"Akeno..?" Todoroki shook him softly, trying to wake him up.

Kitano started to move, he opened his eyes and saw Shoto looking at him, tears in his eyes.

"Thank you so much Akeno.." Shoto hugged him. "You saved us all. But you could've gotten really hurt back there."

Kitano's eyes closed and he hugged Todoroki. "It's okay. I'm okay.." He whispered.
