CHAPTER 1
My Brother's Keeper
_
| Yunhee's POV |
I slowly opened my eyes as I feel the sunlight shining on my face through the window.
"Jinwoo?" I looked around the room to see if he was in the room but he wasn't.
As usual, my husband is already gone before we can even say "good morning" to each other. Oh well, It's not like we do that anyways.
After a few more minutes, I finally decided to get up and get ready for work.
Now that you think about it, I don't know why he always leaves so early in the morning since we both work at the same company. His family's company.
Maybe he just doesn't want to see me.
Actually, that's not a maybe. That's the truth.
He can't bear the fact that me and him got forced into this marriage and who can blame him? Its not totally a party for me either.
However, at least I don't hate him for it since I know its not his fault.
My family and his family decided to become business partners a year ago. Since our families are close, his parents had this so called idea that it would be great if their eldest son married me.
It took them months of persuasion but in the end, me and Jinwoo gave up and decided to agree. They told us that we suited one another but in reality, I'm pretty sure its all about the business.
In the end, I couldn't really say no to my parents. They can only go so far to persuade me. If I kept disobeying, all hell would break loose.
Do they not care that I'm unhappy?
I don't think they know anyway since I put up an act.
After I finished getting ready, I grabbed my bag and headed out of our room. As soon as I started walking, I bumped into someone.
Great.
"Whoa. Watch where you're going Mrs. Kim." Wow. My morning just keeps getting better and better.
"I could say the same thing for you, Kim Taehyung." I look at him with a stern face.
Jinwoo's younger brother is not a big help either. He likes to push my buttons. Oh, and yes. I live with Jinwoo's family. It's not really uncomfortable as one would think since we basically live in a mansion. I still have a hard time finding certain parts of the house.
Taehyung looked by me and Jinwoo's room and then back to me.
"Is your husband coming out or..?" He asks.
"He already left. Didn't you know?" I question him.
"I don't really care so no." Taehyung doesn't really get along with his brother and I don't know why.
"Well aren't you gonna go? Might I remind you that you also have a job to tend to?" I raise my brows at him.
"Once again, I don't really care since I own the company Yunhee." I just roll my eyes at him.
"Okay great, well I care so excuse me." I started walking away but he grabbed my wrist making me turn to look at him.
"Uh..what is it?"
He didn't say anything and instead, he leaned in, his face awkwardly close to mine.
"T-taehyung..?" I stutter. He was uncomfortably close and it made me feel uneasy.
He just smirks and pulls away.
"Cute." He starts walking away from me.
"What in the world..?" I mumbled and just stood there unable to process what happened.
Did my husband's brother just...
No.
I'm not even gonna go there.
I snap out of my thoughts and decided to just leave for work.

"I hope for a vain EXPECTATION but now it's USELESS."
