CHAPTER 25
Keep Your Heart Beating_
| Taehyung's POV |
At last, the meeting was finally over.
Well, its not like I was paying attention anyway. I was thinking about Yunhee the entire time.
A smile made it's way across my face.
As I was getting ready to leave the building, I get this strange gut feeling that something's wrong.
My phone suddenly rang.
I take my phone out of my pocket and checked to see who it is.
Jinwoo?
Wait what the..? Jinwoo's actually calling me? That's new.
I answer the phone and I hear him breathing heavily.
"Ta-taehyu..ng..I-" He sounded scared and for some reason, I started getting nervous.
"What's going on..?"
"Yu-yunhee..." As soon as I heard him stutter Yunhee's name, I knew something bad has happened.
Now I'm scared.
"What the hell happened with Yunhee?!" I yell.
"She..she got into an accident! She got hit by a car!" As soon as I heard what Jinwoo said, my heart stopped.
No words can explain how scared I am right now. Fear took over my body.
"W-what?! Where is she now?!" Panic was evident in my voice.
"They..they took her to the hospital! She's on her way to the hospital!"
That's all I needed to now. I quickly hang up the phone and I was now rushing to my car. I need to reach the hospital as soon as possible.
Hang on Yunhee. I'll be there soon.
Please be okay.

I finally arrive at the hospital and wasted no time asking the receptionist questions.
"Where is Yunhee?! Is she gonna be okay?! What happened?!" I was losing my mind at this point.
"Sir please calm down. Tell me the exact full name of who you are looking for and your relationship to the patient."
"I'm looking for Kim Yunhee and I'm her hu-" Wait, fuck.
I'm not her husband.
"I'm her...husband's brother." That sounds painful.
"Okay well, Ms. Yunhee is currently in the emergency room. She got hit by a car and the impact was pretty hard. She's unconscious and she's lost a lot of blood."
Once I heard that, it's like the world stopped spinning for a quick second.
"Is...is she going to be okay?"
"The doctors are doing the best they can." I let out a heavy breath.
"O-okay...thank you." I walk away feeling broken.
I head by the emergency room and saw Jinwoo. He was sitting on the floor with his hands covering his face.
"Jinwoo what the fuck happened?! How did this happen?!" He looks up as soon as he heard my voice.
He then stands up and hit me. I almost lost balance.
"What the hell?!" I was about to hit him but he dodged my fist.
He pushed me.
"Why did you do it Taehyung?! Why?!" He angrily asks me.
What is he talking about?!
"Do wh-" Then it hit me.
He found out.
"Jinwoo-" He cuts me off.
"Why?!"
I smack him.
"Why?! You wanna know why?! I already told you that I love her! The real question is, why did you cheat on her?! You have no right to be mad at me! I'll admit, me and Yunhee made a mistake! She was being loyal to you and I would've accepted that if I didn't caught you cheating on her several times! So why did I do it? Simple! Because I can treat her so much better!"
He looks away while pulling his hair with frustration.
"I'm not going to say I'm sorry because I'm not. So don't expect me to." I was about to walk away when he spoke.
"Me and Yunhee got into a fight. She told me that she..loves you and she tried to explain everything to me. Out of anger, I..I accidentally hit her. She then ran out of the house and that's when everything..happened."
My blood started to boil as I turned to face him.
"You hit..Yunhee?!" I furiously walked towards him and pushed him hard, his back hitting the wall.
"You mean to tell me..that you hit her because she was trying to explain everything to you?! The truth?! You couldn't bear the fact that she was being honest so you end up hitting her?!" I was about to hit him again when a someone stopped me.
"Taehyung, Enough!" I turn to look at who spoke.
It was dad and mom was with him.
_
"I really hope that EUPHORIA isn't temporary. Well, at least not this one I'm in."
