CHAPTER 29
New Beginnings_
| Jinwoo's POV |
"Kang Seohyun, I still love you."
I have nothing to lose anymore. I might as well tell her. I've been denying this for so long and it's time to stop lying to myself.
I still love her.
"You..love me?" I can tell she's astonished.
I walked closer towards her.
"I love you. I will never let you go again so please be mine."
She starts tearing up as she gave me a smile.
"You are so lame for doing this in a hospital. Not to mention, your wife is also here."
I pull her into a hug.
"By the way, my answer is yes."

| Yunhee's POV |
I'm finally discharged from the hospital.
During my stay there, my parents couldn't come visit me since they were in Thailand taking care of some important business matters.
Now that their finally home and I'm discharged, I get to see them.
"No peeking, Yunhee."
Oh yeah, I'm currently blindfolded because Taehyung said he has a surprise for me.
"I'm not peeking. Hurry up before I take this off." I was getting impatient.
I then hear a door open.
"Tae, where are we? Did you kidnap me?" I chuckle.
"Chill, I didn't kidnap you." I feel him guide me inside the place.
"Okay well can I take it off then?"
"Just give me a few more minutes." I hear his footsteps disappear.
"Tae?"
There was no response. I started getting nervous.
"Tae come on. This isn't funny."
Still, there was no response. I decided to just take it off.
"SURPRISE!"
"Oh my g-" I think I almost had a heart attack.
The whole family was here. I look around and saw confetti all over the place. There was a lot of food and a "Welcome Home Yunhee!" banner hanging on the wall.
"You guys!" My eyes started tearing up. I'm so happy and I can't believe they've put all of this together just for me.
"Welcome home, sweetheart." My parents approach me and practically squeezed me.
"Uh mom..dad." I think they realized it so they immediately pulled away.
"Sorry darling. How are you feeling? We're so glad that you're finally home." I swear I saw tears forming in dad's eyes.
"Dad are you crying?!" He looks away and everyone just laughs.
"Thank you so much for this." I smile at everyone.
While everyone was having fun inside, I went to the patio to cool down. The house was so lively and it made me feel happy.
"Yunhee?" I hear someone call my name and when I looked to see who it was, it was Seohyun.
"Oh, hey. Seohyun right?" I give her a small smile.
"That's me. Can we possibly talk?" I nod at her and she smiles.
We both saw down on the lounge.
She was about to speak when I stopped her by speaking first.
"Look, before you say anything, I just want to let you know that I forgive you. This whole situation wasn't just because of you. I was also involved."
She slowly nods.
"Yunhee, I still have to apologize. The truth is, I've always had feelings for Jinwoo. When we broke up, it really took a toll on me and when I found out he was married.." I hear her sigh.
I just smile at her
"That's the past now, Seohyun. I'm happy for you guys. You two are meant to be together. Besides, I have Taehyung."
"About the baby...." She looks at me with a guilt stricken look.
"It hurt a lot but I know that some things happen. Things that I have no control over. The only thing that I can do now is let go, move on and not let hate consume me." I respond and she gives me a sad smile.
We then hear footsteps coming towards us.
"Now why are you two out here? Escaping the party?" It was Jinwoo.
I just shake my head as me and Seohyun let out a small chuckle.
"Sweetie, I would like to have a moment alone with Yunhee. Is that okay?" Seohyun nods at Jinwoo. She smiles at me as she left.
Jinwoo then took Seohyun's spot and sat down.
"Lee Yunhee." He smiles and took a sip of his champagne.
"Kim Jinwoo." I lean back on my seat while smiling.
"Even though we're going to be divorced, can we be friends?" He looks at me.
I smile at him.
"Of course."
Here's to new beginnings.
