Fade Into You

| Jinwoo's POV |

It's been two days. Yunhee's still in the hospital but she's getting better. Taehyung told me that he told her what happened.

I can't even imagine what she must be feeling right now which is why I'm on my way to visit her.

I'm kind of scared but I know I have to do it. I have to apologize to her.

Once I reached the hospital, I checked in and head to her room.

I open the door slowly.

I walked in and saw Yunhee looking out through the window, her back facing me.

"Who's there?" She says.

"It's..Jinwoo." I say uneasily.

She slowly turns around to face me.

"J-jinwoo?" I can tell she's been crying a lot and the fact that it's because of me hurts.

I sadly smiled at her.

"How are you feeling?" I say as I slowly made my way in front of her.

"I..I feel fine. What brings you here?" I can tell she's nervous.

"I was hoping we could talk. Can we?" She slowly nods at me.

We sat by the chairs near the window.

"Listen Yunhee, I'm really sorry. I'm sorry I hit you. I never wanted this to happened. I guess my anger got the best of me and now.." I close my eyes and sigh.

"Jinwoo, I forgive you." I open them and look at her.

"You..do?" She nods.

"I do. Although, I'm not gonna lie. When I heard that I lost the baby, it was really painful."

I can see that she's trying to hold back her tears.

"Hey I actually am starting to get tired so..can we talk later? I think I'm gonna go ahead and take a quick nap." She stands up.

"Uh yeah, sure. Whatever you want." I stand up and she looks at me with a smile.

I can tell that its a forced smile though.

It suddenly reminded me of our wedding day. That was the exact same smile she gave me that day.

"I'll see you later. I hope you feel better." I started walking towards the door and before I left, I turn to smile at her.

I then walked out with a heavy heart.

I was about to walk away when I heard a familiar voice.

"Jinwoo."

| Seohyun's POV |

"Seohyun? What are you doing here?" He looks at me, clearly surprised.

"I was actually looking for you. Taehyung told me where you might be so here I am. By the way, I'm sorry. I heard about what happened."

He nods and pressed his lips together.

"Do you want to talk about it? If you want to, I'm here."

He smiles at me.

"That'd be nice actually."

We then started walking in a slow pace down the hospital corridor.

"So..what happened?"

"Me and Yunhee got into an argument. She told me that she cheated on me with..Taehyung."

I'm stunned at what I just heard.

"Ch-cheated? With Taehyung?"

"Yeah. So anyways, she told me that she cheated on me with him weeks ago. Anger then took over me and I ended up hitting her unintentionally."

"So after that..that's when she got into an accident?"

"Yeah. The worse part is..she was pregnant."

My eyes widen.

"P-pregnant?!"

"She was. She was pregnant with Taehyung's baby."

Hearing this got me depressed. I can't believe Yunhee lost the baby.

"I can't even think of what she must be going through right now. Jinwoo, I should talk to her." He looks at me.

"I don't think now is the right time, Seohyun. After everything that happened.."

He has a point.

"Y-yeah you're right. I don't know..I just feel bad. Honestly, this all started with me. If I never asked you what I have asked of you, none of this would have happened."

"Don't put all the blame on yourself. I had my part in it too you know. Don't take all the credit."

We both chuckle.

"Why did you even agree?"

He stops walking which made me stop.

"I'm sorry, that was a stupid question." I started walking again but he stops me.

"I agreed because deep down, even though I don't want to admit it, I still feel something for you."

He feels something for me?

"Wait what? What are you saying Jinwoo?" I turn to look at him.

"Kang Seohyun, I still love you."
