As time passes, slaying Nograd made me feel miserable in a way, like my souls were stained by a murder. "But I had no other option..." I tried consoling myself. I stepped out of the cave and limped back towards Daynor. Mruango and Sir Zain mentioned they'll meet me directly at Zain's place. On my way back I took a look at my occupied left hand, ''Zain would be startled receiving this.''

He had this collosal gold-plated glass showcase in his living room. It occupied everything from medals, relics, artifacts to the remains of the mighty creatures he had put an end to. Although there was yet one little empty space which I was now going to fill.

Lost in this train of thought, I was already back in Daynor, only minutes now for Zain's place.

*knock* *knock*

I had never seen a warrior of Sir Zain's stature to be this amazed, "YOU DID IT! YOU KILLED HIM!!"

While Mruango, who was just in the living room walked towards me.

"Whoa! Look at you! Your alive!

"Unfortunate events," I winked.

Emotions and sentiments were stepping in.

I looked at Zain, "I guess Nograd has left you a little present" (I showed him Nograd's fang that I was hiding so far)

He was overwhelmed and I could see that on his face. Without uttering a word, he took the fang and dashed towards the showcase. I left Zain and Mruango alone for some time, while I went over the basement. I de-equipped my armour, stationed the shield on it's stand and ran my hands through the dear sword one last time.

I went back to the Living room where Mruango was admiring Zain's achievements. Diango saw me and we spoke about the sporadic experience. Diango bombarded me with questions:

"So how huge was he? Was he too scary or just scary? How did you manage to block his attacks? The fire-breath.. what was your reaction? How did you manage to kill him?" To be honest, he had completely lost it and I could completely percieve the reason behind.

So in an extremely modest way, I answered all his questions sequentially.

Then we shifted over talking about Meherock. Mruango mentioned that one of Saleo's sailor friend Ned had dropped by at his place the other day. He informed that Saleo would be returning to Port Kaneno tonight.

That meant I had a few hours more before I leave Daynor. I would sure miss Diango and Zain. It was pretty strange how I didn't even know them much but still they did so much for me.

"What? What were you thinking about?" Mruango asked. Maybe I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't even realise he was saying something all this while.

"Umm..If its OK with you, I would love to have something extraordinary for dinner. Something you cook best," I requested Mruango.

"Of course Mr Warrior. But for that you have to come with me," Mruango replied.

"I would love to" I said eagerly.

Mruango walked towards Zain, who was still engrossed staining Nograd's fang preferred staying home. After having a little talk with him he informed me that it was just going to be us two. As we walked out of Zain's house, I asked Mruango, "So where are we going?"

Mruango just looked at me and smiled.

"I have so much suspense to deal with anyways!" I sighed.

Disillusionment followed me as we reached Mruango's place. He went inside for a minute and returned back with some sort of package in his hand.

"You're not going to tell me, are you?" I asked.

"Lets hope you love surprises." He replied with a grin.

Mruango made me walk for a while till we reached the shore. However this wasn't the way we took to Port Kaneno.

Mruango removed his fishing gear from that package and said "Wait and watch"

The place was completely serene and deserted. The water was crystal clear and you could see variety of fishes in the shallow areas. Mrungo had his fishing line casted at a considerable distance from the shore. Suddenly the rod experienced a jerk and Mruango started pulling the line.

"UNBELIEVABLE" I shouted. The fish Mruango had caught was rainbow-ish, stripes of all 7 colours in proportion. Apart from that, the fish actually gleamed.

"The looks are apparent, It tastes even better!", as he caught another for himself.

He added, "Not many people know about this...and stay assured you don't get this anywhere off the Island.''

My mouth was watering already as he took me to Zain's house. In a way to express gratitude, Zain along with Diango had arranged for a special dinner. Zain had already made arrangements for cooking the rainbow fish. Diango cooked as I watched in an attempt to learn. I just realised that cooking definitely wasn't my cup of tea.

Dinner was an absolute delight. I literally have no words , especially for the fish. I can just hope it occupies my taste buds for a lifetime.

It was soon time for me to leave. Sir Zain walked me over to his basement and insisted I take the armour and sword along, ''I wont need it. There are no more worthy oponents left on this Island for me. The last one is sailing away..'' All three of us left for Port Kaneno with vehiment emotions. On our way, the council for Daynor thanked me for the courageous contribution. Somehow everyone knew about it, since the whole of Daynor stood illuminated.. It was a wonderful sight!

On our way, Zain shared some of his amusing adventures that included killing zombies, headless pirates, hobgoblins and hill giants. When we reached Port Kaneno, Saleo's ship was already there, a silver plated board that read  'S.L.Gavank'. Saleo, instructing few fellowmen, took a moment to wave at us.

None of us spoke much. I had to go, I needed to know who I am. And both Diango and Zain understood this pretty well. I hugged them one last time as I crossed the gang plank over to the ship.

Saleo seemed quite happy, after all he received endless rewards from the Depreakanian royals..

"So are we ready?" Saleo asked.

"To Meherock! " I replied in an old fashioned way, my sword pointing in the direction of the ship.

The ship sailed as I waved Crandor one last goodbye.

2 days had passed.

Except for the first two hours which were filled with enthusiasm, the rest of the journey was pretty dull. To the entent, I was resentfull to even the sight of water around. However, on a plus, Saleo had made all arrangements for lunch, supper and dinner throughout the days. The food wasn't the way I was used to for the last few days, and made me miss Mruango even more.

Finally that afternoon, Saleo announced that we would reach Meherock in an hour or so. Excitement and curiosity again stepped in. Adrenaline pumped in.  This was the day I've been waiting for..
