It's been weeks..
Neither Colby or Kale has shown up in awhile..
Sam was starting to get worried. Everyone in the school knew what happened, but they left him in the dark. Unknowing of any event.
The atmosphere of the school turned eerie. Halls seemed darker and silent. Everyone stared at Sam with wide eyes, like they know something he does not.
What if they're in trouble? He thought, panic rising. What if they're... They're...
Tears glistened in his eyes. He couldn't bring himself to think of anything but Colby and Kale.. They sure had to turn up eventually right?
Even the sky on a bright, cold winter day seemed off. Everything seemed too ... Unusual for him..
Sam was walking home from school. Surely Colby would have to be there now? It's been weeks without contact from his boyfriend..
Nervousness rose as he walked to his down. Placing his hand on the doorknob, he twisted it open.. The house was silent..
Deafening silent..
Everything wasn't right. Something was wrong..
Shadows seemed more intense in his gaze. Silence filled his ears as he called out.
"Colby?! Kale?!"
No response..
His heart rate quickened. What if they were in trouble?! Sam glanced around again, running up to his room. He swiftly opened the door. No one was there..
His parents weren't home either because of their work. Even so, they would've called the school for they knew he was worried about his boyfriend..
Sam ran back down to the living room, frantically looking around. No one. He ran outside, greeting by the cold winter breeze.
Kale's house!
The blonde glanced around. He bolted off to the left and to where his friend's house was located. If they're anywhere, they're here..
He rapidly knocked on the door once he got there. No response. Was his mom home? Sam knocked again, more calmly though. This time, his mom did answer.
"Sam?" Mrs. Sol asked, wide eyed. "What's wrong?"
"Is Kale here?"
"No. I haven't seen him in weeks. I've already alerted the cops. Why?
"Because Colby is missing as well," Sam started to explain, "I'm getting worried. Neither Kale or Colby as shown up to school, and everyone keeps looking at me like they know something I do not. I'm getting extremely worried about them.."
Mrs. Sol remained silent for a moment, like she was trying to remember something.
"I don't know, honey, they haven't been here for awhile.."
Sam nodded, "Thank you.." He walked off from the house. Kale and Colby are missing. He was worried and.. Rather upset.
They just disappeared.. Into thin air almost.. Like where could they have gone?
