Sam paced his room. It's been a few more days. Kale appeared, but Colby is still missing..
Kale swore he knew nothing. That he wasn't with the brunette at the time of his disappearance, that he was with his cousin — Solaris. That they weren't together at all..
This worried Sam to the core. It's been over a month now. Winter's last weeks are withering away and spring is shining through. Though everyday seems depressing for Sam.
He started walking alone. Talking to no one. He wanted to remain to himself, for he wanted to know what happened to Colby. He couldn't be without the love of his life.
Now he sat in band class. They found a new student to replace Colby for the time being. It felt weird without him still, even though it's been over a month.
Kale starting sitting next to him. His hair was fading slightly, the roots growing out. His natural hair colour being a golden brown.. Almost blonde..
Sam whispered, "What the fuck.."
"What's wrong?" He snapped his attention to the distressed blonde.
"I'm trying to figure out what happened to Colby.. It's been weeks, over a month now. Where could he have gone?"
Kale sighed, "I am too.. I've spent weeks looking for him, he's no where to be found.. Solaris tried to help, but her drama class needed her.. I'm sorry, Sam. I'll continue to search, but no promises.."
Sam sighed, "You shouldn't have to worry.." He lied, turning his head back to his sheet music. "I just need to focus on our piece.. I'll worry about him later.."
"You shouldn't have to focus," the other male argued, "you should be out there, finding your boyfriend! Skip school; Colby fucking needs you.."
His blue eyes trailed back to his instrument.. "Maybe he's right.." He whispered. The brunette has been gone a long time; he needs to be found.. No matter how long it takes, Sam will find him.. Even if it takes years.
"You know what.. You're right.." He lifted his head, looking at his ex boyfriend. "I'm not gonna give up. I'm determined to find him."
A smile crept up on Kale's face. "You need to start immediately.."
"I can't.." Sam sighed. "I will start tomorrow.. I'm here now, and tomorrow it'll start.."

The next day, the blonde sat at his desk. He skipped school, just as Kale instructed.. There was something in the male's voice that was off..
Like he knew something Sam did not..
