Colby laid on the bed, starting at the roof. Sam wasn't home yet, despite it being 11pm at night. What was he doing? Tossing and turning, the brunette imagined the worse. What if his boyfriend was cheating on him? With Kale? He shivered at he thought.

An hour passed and he heard voices heading upstairs. One belonged to Sam, another to someone else.

"Tonight was great, Sam," the mysterious person said.

Colby rested himself on his palm, listening to the voices in the hallway.

"Agreed," he answered, letting out a hefty chuckle. "We need to train privately more often."

Being as slow and quiet as possible, Colby sat up, stepping off the bed and to the door. There, he cracked it a little bit, peering out. It was Sam and Kale, talking. The two still hung out too often. And it was through the first week and a half of school.

"I agreed." Kale laughed slightly. "Well I better get going. Told my mom I'd be back by 1am. Though she don't care really. She really likes you.."

Colby's heart froze. How often did Sam go to his house?

Turning away, Kale tripped slightly, causing him to fall on Sam. Was is purposeful or not? The blonde fell back slightly, hitting the wall next to the door where the two stood, frozen. Not one of them moved.

Tears welled in Colby's eyes. He turned away, running to the bed where he jumped on it, curling into a little ball. "It's not true, he's yours." He repeated over and over until he drifted off into a sleep.

Sam awoke at his alarm. He turned to shut it off. Rolling over, he blinked the wakefulness from his eyes. Colby wasn't next to him. Unusual. Turning his alarm off, Sam sat up, stretching. He slipped into his outfit after leaving his bed, soon going to the bathroom to brush his teeth and all..

Upon exiting and walking downstairs, he noticed Colby wasn't anywhere to be seen. But a note did lie on the counter. Confused, he walked to it, picking it up. Opening it, the note said;

Sam,
I woke up a little early to go on a walk and then head to school.. uhm... Im sorry if this alarmed you, I just need to clear my head..
Also I need to talk to you during school.. Meet me at the band room before first period..
- Colby.

Sam stared at the note, confused. After setting it down, he exited his house and made his way to school.

Once in the school, Sam glanced around. Dylan was still sick, though he said he may be back by Friday. It was Thursday...

Moving through the crowd, he walked to the band room, seeing Colby pacing. Opening the door, the brunette stopped.

"You wanted me to meet you here?" Inquired Sam, shutting the door behind him.

"Yes because I have a few questions to ask." Colby replied, his face stern.

"Go on."

"Why do you always come so late?"

The blonde stood, shocked. He stuttered, hesitating as he searched for an answer. "I-I don't.."

"Liar," snarled Colby. "I know you do, you came home last night at midnight."

Sam's face fell. Did that mean he saw what happened between Kale and me?

The blue eyes of his boyfriend flared anger and hurt. "And not to mention with Kale." Sam opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off. "Now explain. Why didn't you do anything once Kale tripped onto you? Why did you assume that position for who knows how long?"

"I was frozen in place!! At the beginning..."

"Beginning.." The brunette repeated, his eyes tearing up. His anger now overcoat with sadness. "In the beginning.. Wow.. Okay.." Colby forced past Sam, tears streaming down his face. "If you want Kale, whatever. Because I ain't dealing with this shit.." Then he walked out, leaving Sam alone.

Colby punched his locker, tears streaming down his face. He just lost his everything. His entire world. The only thing he has left.

The brunette leaned against the locker, crying heavily. "I've lost everything I have...

"The only part of me keeping me alive.."
